How long until some crew put feathers in the antennae?

I hope August 15th would be less wet.

Forecast for August 15th for now is 33C and a beautifull day.

1st Company preparing for Armed Forces Day.

Also during Armed Forces Day we will be able to see first 4 pre-series Borsuk IFV's in configuration close to the series one. Front of the hull was reinforced. Polish Land Forces are also comparing conventional steel tracks with CRT's.

Today was very important day. MoD signed 3 contracts with PGZ.

Contract No.1 For Heavy IFV. Around 700 Heavy IFV's to be procured. Heavy IFV will be based on Krab/K9 chassis subsystems and also probably some subsystems from Borsuk IFV. Deliveries of first vehicles are planned for 2025.

Contract No.2 For new Wheeled APC as a replacement for Rosomak. This will be a completely new vehicle, developed by PGZ. To be delivered in 2028-2035.

Contract No.3 For new lightweight 4x4 multirole vehicles. These will be polonized South Korean KLTV's.

As a bonus, early concept graphic of new Heavy IFV.

Video presenting parade from the Polish Armed Forces Day this year.

Thanks!

We were able to hear that but not to see very much.

Also, Monday evening before the parade I saw at the hotel what could be a Polish lieutenant colonel that I suppose were there to escort a South Korean officer. Could have been also a major general, I only remember two five pointed stars on epaulets and three rows of ribbons in his uniform.

Polish national anthem is an interesting piece of music with passionate lyrics:

A video from 18th Mechanized Division "The Iron Division". Our M1A1FEP tank crews are already going through training on their tanks, I was also told that Polish Army already is receiving batches of training and combat ammo, including M829A4 APFSDS.

Today at Orzysz-Bemowo Piskie Training Area, I was among many Polish Citizens, observing dynamic presentation of many new weapon systems procured recently by the MoD. This presentation was codenamed "Autumn Fire", I must say it was great to observe it.

Looks like not all T-72's were given to Ukraine. And these are upgraded T-72M1R's.

I was going to upload this video, Polish T-72s in Germany... who would have thought of this in the mid 80s.

Actually, we were half expecting to see them in  West Germany in the eighties.
