Are you paying for them or are they military aid?

Poland pays $75 million USD for 300 Cougar MRAPs (plus shipping). This is a rather bad deal, given how little value a Cougar MRAP offers outside of Afghanistan and Iraq - its ballistic protection is limited to STANAG 4569 Level 1.

Greece is in the process of receiving 1,200 of the better suited M1117 ASVs for no additional costs (only $102 million USD worth of transportation and inspection costs are being paid). A big difference is that the M1117 can stop 12.7 mm AP rounds at 250 metres distance, which matters a lot in conventional warfare.

It seems that GDLS delegation also visited WZM (Wojskowe Zakłady Motoryzacyjne) and HSW (Huta Stalowa Wola) plants.

It's speculated that WZM in Poznań, will become service center for M1A2SEPv3 tanks purchased by Polish Army, and might also serve as service center for US Army M1 tanks stored in Poland and used by units that will be stationed in Poland.

GDLS is talking about these with PGZ that is consortium, that WZM and HSW are part of.

Update:

https://poznan.tvp.pl/57388968/amerykanskie-czolgi-w-poznaniu

It seems more and more that it might be WZM that will become service center in Europe for M1 tanks. Of course by default for Polish M1A2SEPv3's, but I can imagine, US Army in Europe, might also use this service center.

so with the M1 deal more or less done, is the Korean K2 sale effectively over?

Formally no. Because current purchase of 250 M1A2SEPv3's, is a separate purchase from the "Wilk" ("Wolf") programme. However because M1A2SEPv3 exists in reality, while K2PL is just a plastic model so far, then M1A2SEPv3 definately have an upper hand over K2PL.

Not a vehicles, but 1st Armored Brigade infrastructure had been modernized, with new garages, service hangars and other buildings for tanks and other heavy vehicles. At the moment building are used with Leopard 2PL/Leopard 2PLM1 and Leopard 2A5 tanks, but in future, these will be replaced by M1A2SEPv3's.

They may not have the available acreage for that, or they may not have been authorised budget, or they may not be retaining the older equipment long term, or they may be going into a storage facility where there is no provision for a door for each vehicle, given that they won't be expected to be needed to move out all at once.

Is it really too expensive to just build new ones for the Abrams and older tanks?

1st Armored Brigade and 19th Mechanized Brigade of the 18th Mechanized Division will be rearmed with M1A2SEPv3's.

This means that 1st Armored Brigade will replace it's Leopard 2PL and Leopard 2A5 tanks with M1A2SEPv3's and 19th Mechanized Brigade will replace it's T-72M1R tanks with M1A2SEPv3's.

Leopard 2PL and Leopard 2A5 tanks will be then moved back to 34th Armored Cavalry Brigade of the 11th Armored Cavalry Division.

T-72M1R's will be moved to reserve stocks.

Well, while the Ukrainian situation might have no other silver linings, it may effectively sweep away any bureaucratic/diplomatic resistance to this sale going through expeditiously.

Then again, it might be serving as a wake up call to some in the West...

Great news. PGZ just announced that our new amphibious IFV Borsuk, will participate in tender for new IFV for Republic of Slovakia Armed Forces.

Currently Polish MoD and PGZ are negotiating terms of producing additional 4 prototypes.

Also final prototype of PMN Baobab-K is going through trails.

Only those that signed, and banned ones are non-command detonated anti-infantry. Anti-armor are still valid.

February 1st, Polish Army and US Army tested RM70 mobile railway ramp developed by Polish engineers at OBRUM (Ośrodek Badawczo Rozwojowy Urządzeń Mechanicznych). RM70 is designed for vehicles weighting up to around 70 metric tons.

Also, additional tests were done with new Jelcz 882.62 truck with trailer and M1A2SEPv2 tank, probably a preparation for being used to transport M1A2SEPv3's which will be procured by the MoD and Polish Army.

Things like that ramp existed for 80+ years already, I guess a new thing is it is 70t class.

Also, do your railway stations have "blind" line with unloading ramp already?

Yes we have such blind lines with concrete ramps. But RM70 gives some additional flexibility.
