And at the speeds it's supposed to operate it's going to need a lot more fire extinguishers than those on the photo to keep all those tyres from burning to much, no?

The head light set seems somewhat small as well, about the same size as a sedan car.

French documentary about their nuclear weapons but sadly quality is not very good so you cannot see details of the warheads. I'd assume those are either TN-70 or TN-75 warheads.

US version of the MAZ TEL is so meh looking.

Bite your tongue commie :P

My understanding is there is a spade on the ICBM trailer so the tractor can entrench it somewhat.. What I have always wondered is what is the crew of the tractor supposed to do other than put their heads between their legs and kiss their asses goodbye.

The US version of the Soviet FOBS?. AFAIK, banned under SALT II.

Been a bit stupid here, PLUTO was a very powerful disturbingly fast cruise missile; nothing to do with fobs. Should of done my homework  .

Did the Soviets have an equivalent to the Davy Crockett?

No, IIRC their smallest nuke was 152mm arty one, for 2A36 gun, made in '70s.

It's nice to see that even the Russians have got the red fire extinguisher on a green vehicle thing going on.

Yes, I have wondered before if the two green canisters are something different.

I know there has been proposed nuclear powered tanks, but has there ever been a serious proposal to arm tanks with a nuclear round?
