I can't believe that's really true, but if so you really got to hand it to the Kims...I would expect that kind of shit in an 80's Chuck Norris movie or something, but as an actual tool of state policy? I wonder how the mortar crews would feel about it. I suppose it encourages accuracy on their part, since misses and near misses merely extend the physical and psychological suffering of the target. That said, I assume it took more than one round, even if they zero'd it first, given typical dispersion...

If you look around, I believe you will find without much difficulty, films of the Saddam Hussein Iraqi military dispatching disruptive elements with small explosive charges. I decline to post any links.

Did anyone notice the exact moment this year when day-to-day life turned into a horror movie?

Seriously, people - no comments?

NYPD, home of New York's finest, now turns out to be home of one of the most gruesome. A police officer has been charged for conspiracy to kidnap and plotting to torture, cook and eat women by using a law enforcement database.

Is that even illegal in New York anymore?

Conspiracy to cannibalism? I don't know....I guess if the victim was organically raised, it may be OK.

I wonder what he was planning to make?

Girl-kabobs, apparently.

I can see the run-of-the-mill looney getting nabbed planning this, but a cop? Yeesh.

It would be, if the cannibal had used table salt...

You can have fava beans, but the chianti just needs to be in a goblet smaller than 32oz.
