Guest Guest_shootER5_*
I like the new board! I hope you guys like the Invision software. I used to help admin a board with it and it was always pretty easy for me to use (and I'm a dunce when it comes to computer stuff...)
Guest Guest_Scott Cunningham_*
I like the old system that had the topic post as the #1, with most recents right below that. Now I have to jump all the way to the back to see what everyone is already talking about.

Paul G 0
How do you upload pics? It sayz somthing about permisions?
Panzermann 0
Just as in the old forums you need a permission to upload something to the board. You can link images from external webspace if so desired. but a different problem: where went my custom status message?
Guest Mike Steele
Different sort of problem. I pick a post to reply to, and I get the last (top post) instead of the one I thought I was selecting.Example:Tusanami thread, Post by Hans: (in the #2 spot)" Not directed at the US ....." What I got to reply to was swerve's comment, (in the #1 spot) Ooops! buttons that look ike they are at the top of the post actually work the post above..... And mozilla firefox users, in the options, use whatever colors you like, but specify use system colors.
zwolo2003 0
Yet another problem. Options allowing download/printing of entire topic do not seem to work with long threads. "Download HTML", "download Microsoft Word", printer-friendly version - they all show a blank page if I try to use any of them on threads having 20 pages or so. Printable version worked fine with the old forum engine regardless of number of pages in thread. Example:"Brit infantry in WWII - what went wrong?", currently in GenMil forum. 22 pages long. Single pages look fine, but I get a blank page with any of download/print options. Or "76mm Hvap" thread, somewhere in the archives of the AFV forum. 17 pages. Ditto. Is this my software problem, or problem with forum software? Could it be fixed? It would be nice, the download options are most useful with long threads really. Cheers,Zwolo
Jeff 0
I tried it to see what would happen and I had the same result, a lot of connection activity for a few seconds and then a blank page.
Guest Mike Steele
BTW, The news software doesen't spell or do grammar any better than the old stuff did!

Corinthian 0
I just noticed at the side profile under words "Member No." an entry called "Warn" followed by a percentage plus five boxes. What does this mean? A warning to all members that they're given five strikes then out? When I click the % figure, I get a popup window with two columns titled 'Warned By' and 'Notes'. I reckon this can be viewed only by the member personally (and MODERATOR's all-seeing Eye) since I don't see it in other members' post. franko 0
Well well....I go away for a while and everything changes. Good to see a newer format though. Hope all is well. Regards
Guest Mike Steele
The forum has acted up several times today. I would hazard a guess the SQL still isn't quite right. That or it's all franko's fault.
