Ivanhoe Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 RUMINT is that Tesla Cybertrucks are going to be renamed to DePloreans.

Musk is in a quandary with Tesla customers, as those are cars bought by ideological reasons mostly, but from a ideology more in line with the detractors of Mush political stance. This could be interesting.

Some (most?) of Tesla's models are actually pretty cheap compared to other cars of the similar size, class and equipment suit, so that probably also plays part of the appeal. If charger infrastructure in Serbia was better I would have seriously consider one of their cheaper models as a next car, because I have found them to be quite comfortable inside and by owner's word they are quite reliable. Most of the "default" manufacturers I would have looked at are now producing overpriced junk, consequence of more strict environmental regulations. And a lot of them, despite having large outside dimensions have piss poor ergonomics for someone 196cm tall.
Ivanhoe Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Clearly the hobbit nation's defenses were caught short.
