In some parts of ex-Yugoslavia nickname for Italians was "mackari", word usually used for cat loving people. In this case "love" was ironic, since they tended to eat them.

My grandfather's story about that was quite funny. Sometime in 1942., in partisans they were really hungry, and their cook, captured Italian, managed to make stew with some meat. Not a lot, everyone thought it was a rabbit. Until at one moment, while eating someone realized that they did not send anyone to forage/hunt. So he asks cook what kind of meat it was. Cook did not know a word so he just "meawed". Someone said ""F****** Italian cat eaters", but none stopped eating.

My father could have eaten cat when he was a poor, young shepherd in the southern Aragon mountains post Spanish Civil War.

Some old-school hunters who grew up in the Rocky Mountain region of the US apparently hunt mountain lion for the meat, rather than livestock protection.

I would need to be darned hungry before eating any kind of feline meat. The only mammalian predator that I'm pretty sure are tasty is black bear, who are really omnivores with a preference for berries and fruit.

Like very much the tone change of the lady after hearing "Asteroid Destroyer"

Glitter black cat is also hilarious. As it is arcade kitten.

Awhile ago I saw a video of a housecat that was obsessed with eating salted peanuts. He figured out how to open the screw top on a jar, so his owner would simply set the jar on the coffee table and the cat would frantically remove the lid to get at the peanuts.

Almost as cute as Scarlett Johansson in that time-travel documentary I once watched.
