Ivanhoe Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 http://scrappleface.com/blog/2018/07/11/nato-rejects-obsolete-label-in-telegram-to-trump/ (2018-07-11) — The head of the NATO virgorously rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s suggestion that the 69-year-old defense alliance is “obsolete.” The fiery reaction came in a terse telegram to Trump, received at the East Portico of the White House from a mounted courier late yesterday.
Panzermann Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 (edited) I thought that is a cloven hoof... Edited July 21, 2018 by Panzermann
Panzermann Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 A nice grandpa driven S90 (940 facelift; last rearwheeldrive Volvo) is on my list to buy. limousine/sedan with inline 6 turbo. fully zinc electrogalvanised. and with a bit of fiddling to eat E85 easily 500, 800 horses.and more. and certainly useabl as a daily driver. this bloody May I shot a roebuck with my '98 V70. That bloody dumb roe jumped out of a field of rye and scratched my paint! Fuck yeah for swedish steel why is there no album named "Swedish Steel"? I expect some meloic Göteborg death metal!
bd1 Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 3 years ago i sold my old volvo 850, now we drive ´05 opel astra wagon. while competent car, it´s just so .... . and rather uncomfortable, can´t forget the volvo´ seats, that are the best i´ve ever sat in. the whole family still sighs when we see a 850/70 in good shape.
toysoldier Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 I thought that is a cloven hoof... You use what you have. Cloven hoof, huge member, just try and make it to safety.
Ivanhoe Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 this bloody May I shot a roebuck with my '98 V70. That bloody dumb roe jumped out of a field of rye and scratched my paint! Its a common joke amongst Southern surburbanites here. "I've gone deer hunting for the last 10 years, and finally got one with my Chevy." Svedish Steel would be a good band name. I nominate Noomi as lead singer, as long as she follows the normal script of skintight black leather, corsets, long hair, etc.
Soren Ras Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 LOL She seems like she might be a wee bit assertive. Soren
Panzermann Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 A gazebo appears! this bloody May I shot a roebuck with my '98 V70. That bloody dumb roe jumped out of a field of rye and scratched my paint! Anything else would be a shame to damage hitting wild game.
Mr King Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 The famous story of the gazebo is what initially got me interested in paper and pen RPG's. Then I started reading and watching comics and videos that were poking fun at pen and paper RPG's and their players, and that led me to finding a local group.
Panzermann Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 (edited) A gazebo appears! Exactly the one. It gets really mean, when all the other players throw in potions and stuff to boost the dreadbeast. Losing three levels is quite a hit in Munchkin card game. Iirc there is a level 1 monster in one of the Cthulhu sets that can drop you back to one if you lose. Legend has it, that it goes waybackwhen a player misunderstood a Dungeon Master's description of a piece of park... Edited July 23, 2018 by Panzermann
