Open-source tracking data confirmed that the vessel was en route to Constanta, Romania, after departing from Port Said. The Besiktas-M is owned by Istanbul-based Black Hawk Shipping Ltd. and operated by Synergy Ship Management Turkiye Pte. Ltd. U.S. Navy’s Cmdr. Timothy Gorman addressed the media, stating, “The collision did not endanger the Harry S. Truman. The incident is currently under investigation, and we will release more information as it becomes available.”
