Rick Posted March 13 Posted March 13 What is disturbingly crazy is one city has 1,000 Dept. of Education employees!

Stargrunt6 Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 American TV had a chance to rip kff "Yes. Minister," like they do other British shows.
Murph Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Is it not shocking that so much of the Lefts winning agenda has died once the money machine was cut off? It is almost like they found a way to make the US taxpayers fund their own destruction.
Ivanhoe Posted March 20 Posted March 20 https://www.dailywire.com/news/fmcs-slush-fund-abolished-by-trump Quote One of the seven small federal agencies that President Donald Trump ordered downsized or eliminated on Friday was rife with corruption, with its employees hiring friends and relatives, commissioning paintings of themselves, and using government credit cards to indulge in constant luxuries. The Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) occupied a nine-story office tower on D.C.’s K Street for only 60 employees, many of whom actually worked from home, prior to the pandemic. Its managers had luxury suites with full bathrooms; one manager would often be “in the shower” when she was needed, while another used her bathroom as a cigarette lounge. FMCS recorded its director as being on a years-long business trip to D.C. so he could have all of his meals and living expenses covered by taxpayers, simply for showing up to the office. Those workers ain't exactly bending steel on the production line. If they need showers in the middle of their work day, what (or who) the hell are they doing at lunch?
Tim the Tank Nut Posted March 20 Posted March 20 the level of fraud, waste, and dishonest political kickbacks is astonishing, even to a cynic like me. It reminds me about the saying "tell a lie big enough and enough times...". I mean, Team D really went all in on this. There's money dumped everywhere. Can they not see the budget deficit? Who had Trump as fiscal hawk on their list of predictions? We're going to find out that MOST rather some of our government employees are crooks. Any big organization is going to have overlap inefficiencies but that isn't what this is. There are billions of dollars on the take here. If Trump manages this (and the enemy doesn't get him) he won't have to worry about being on Mt Rushmore. He'll have his likeness carved all across the Rockies.
Ivanhoe Posted March 24 Posted March 24 This isn't a USAID thing (AFAICT), but it runs parallel; https://freebeacon.com/democrats/from-feeding-the-kids-to-fleecing-the-government-inside-the-countrys-largest-covid-fraud/ Quote A cast of almost entirely Somali immigrants is charged with siphoning some $250 million from the federal child nutrition program administered by the Minnesota Department of Education into their own pockets between March 2020 and January 2022, when federal agents assembled from around the United States to raid the many scenes of the crime around the Twin Cities. Since then 70 defendants have been charged, 37 have pleaded guilty, and 7 have been convicted in the two trials conducted in the case so far. The others have yet to be tried. Not surprisingly, there was an eyewitness or two that were not called to testify. I'm sure y'all are just shocked that the state prosecutors in Minnesota failed to perform due diligence/due care. Quote The programs were administered by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) and funded by the United States Department of Agriculture. With regulatory "waivers" adopted by the department on account of COVID, the MDE proved a remarkably easy mark. It didn’t take much more than absurd claims of racism to scare the agency off its suspicions while "sites" proliferated and funds kept rolling out the door. In 2021 alone, Feeding Our Future siphoned nearly $200 million to fraudulent sites and vendors. Quote Bock was the star defendant in the second of the two trials conducted so far. Her trial concluded with the jury's guilty verdict on all counts this past Wednesday. Bock was tried along with Salim Said, whose fraud netted him $5.5 million. Said’s Safari Restaurant off Lake Street in south Minneapolis reported approximately $600,000 in annual revenue in each of the three years prior to the onset of COVID. In April 2020, Safari enrolled in the federal child nutrition program under the sponsorship of Feeding Our Future. By July 2020, Said claimed to be serving meals to 5,000 children per day, seven days a week, every month. In total, Said claimed to have served over 3.9 million meals to children from the Safari Restaurant food site between April 2020 and November 2021. Said profited from claims that associates provided more than 2.2 million meals at other food sites involved in Feeding Our Future’s fraud scheme. Quote Bock’s fakery occasionally had an unintentionally comic component. Except for the checks it issued to sites and vendors, everything about Feeding Our Future was fake. Feeding Our Future listed three key outside board members who had no idea they had been so named. Two were bartenders and one was a small-engine mechanic for the city of Eagan, Minnesota.
PaulFormerlyinSaudi Posted March 26 Posted March 26 So any legal action against all these fraudsters yet?
Murph Posted March 26 Posted March 26 It takes time, but then again you would ignore that to try and score a typical left wing point right?
DKTanker Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Louis DeJoy, Post Master General last week, resigned effective immediately this week. Why? Because the guy Trump hand picked to be the PMG in 2020 didn't want DOGE trolling through USPS. I can understand his point. 1.) USPS is supposed to be autonomous 2.)DeJoy and the board of governors had a plan they believed, if left alone, could have turned the service to solvency. Maybe they could, maybe they couldn't, we'll never know. DeJoy was already set to resign upon his replacement being named however, Team Trump w/DOGE sped up that timeline when they threatened to fire the board of governors and have Trump appoint new governors that would do his bidding. To save some semblance of coherency at USPS, DeJoy resigned rather than have the board of governors fired. Yay Trump.
Murph Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Now we just need to defund a bunch of these left wing Obama/Biden judges, defund their positions, and then investigate them for collusion with the Democraps and deep state.

Also, a little more than 1,000 people have been fired across the entire department. -=Link=- So 1,000 people were not fired in Dallas. The Department of Education has always been the smallest cabinet-level agency. It has never even reached 10,000 employees nationwide. -=Another Link=- It never had 1,000 people in Dallas to fire.
DKTanker Posted March 29 Posted March 29 It is both fun and illustrative to watch people defend the indefensible bloated deep state.

Murph Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Oh go play your game somewhere else Paul. "Source please? Source Please?" Again, go play the game elsewhere. Yes, it is truly hilarious, especially as now we know where they were getting the money to destroy not only this country but many others. Now that the gravy train is shut down, it looks like WHO (The Chinese health Org) is having to almost shut down since the money is no longer flowing. I can hear the screams from the left: "The Spice MUST FLOW!", in order to keep funding the destruction of western civilization.

Murph Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Yes, you are, like all of your ilk you play the "Source please game" endlessly when the reality hits you in the face. Sorry, please go play your "source please" game elsewhere like on Bluesky.
