Stargrunt6 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Post your favorite revelations regarding USAID. Here's mine:
rmgill Posted February 6 Posted February 6 I think the term "Trans Industrial Complex" is appropriate.
Ivanhoe Posted February 6 Posted February 6 My favorite revelation, so far, is the funneling of federal taxpayer dollars to elect Soros prosecutors; The Deep State essentially embezzled tax dollars, got Soros prosecutors elected, which has resulted in unnecessary deaths.
DKTanker Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Rubio just fired all but 294 USAID employees. Put another way, Rubio terminated the employment of 10,000 world wide USAID employees.

Mr King Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Quote The House of Representatives impeached President Donald Trump on December 18, 2019, after a White House whistleblower went public with evidence that Trump abused his powers by withholding military aid to Ukraine in order to dig up dirt on his rival, Joe Biden. In the complaint, the whistleblower claimed to have heard from White House staff that Trump had, on a phone call, directed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to work with his personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, to investigate Joe Biden and Hunter Biden. The whistleblower who triggered the impeachment was a CIA analyst who was first brought into the White House by the Obama administration. Reporting by Drop Site News last year revealed that the CIA analyst relied on reporting by a supposedly independent investigative news organization called the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), which appears to have effectively operated as an arm of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), which President Trump has just shut down. The CIA whistleblower complaint cited a long report by OCCRP four times. The OCCRP report alleged that two Soviet-born Florida businessmen were “key hidden actors behind a plan” by Trump to investigate the Bidens. According to the story, those two businessmen connected Giuliani to two former Ukrainian prosecutors. The OCCRP story was crucial to the House Democrats’ impeachment claim, which is that Trump dispatched Giuliani as part of a coordinated effort to pressure a foreign country to interfere in the 2020 presidential election, which is why the whistleblower cited it four times. In a 2024 documentary that German television broadcaster NDR made about OCCRP’s dependence on the US government, a USAID official confirmed that USAID approves OCCRP’s “annual work plan” and approves new hires of “key personnel.” NDR initiated and carried out the investigation with French investigative news organization Mediapart, Italian new group Il Fatto Quotidiano, Reporters United in Greece, and Drop Site News in the United States. However, according to a Mediapart story published the same day as the Drop Site News article, NDR censored the broadcast “after US journalist Drew Sullivan, the co-founder and head of the OCCRP, placed pressure on the NDR management and made false accusations against the broadcaster’s journalists involved in the project.” On December 16, Drop Site’s Ryan Grim posted a link on X to the 26-minute-long documentary. “NDR, Germany’s public broadcaster, is facing a censorship scandal and has defended itself by saying it never killed a news report about OCCRP and its State Department funding — b/c no report was ever produced to kill,” said Grim. “That was absurd — and dozens, maybe hundreds, of journalists knew it to be false, and now of course, someone has leaked it.” The journalistic collaboration revealed that OCCRP’s original funding came from the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs of the State Department, and quotes a USAID official who says, “Drew’s just nervous about being linked with law enforcement,” referring to Sullivan. “If people who are going to give you information think you’re just a cop, maybe it’s a problem.” OCCRP does not operate like a normal investigative journalism organization in that its goals appear to include interfering in foreign political matters, including elections, aimed at regime change. Sullivan told NDR that his organization had “probably been responsible for five or six countries changing over from one government to another government… and getting prime ministers indicted or thrown out.” As such, it appears that CIA, USAID, and OCCRP were all involved in the impeachment of President Trump in ways similar to the regime change operations that all three organizations engage in abroad. The difference is that it is highly illegal and even treasonous for CIA, USAID, and its contractors and intermediaries, known as “cut-outs,” to interfere in US politics this way. OCCRP threatened to file a lawsuit against Public in response to questions we sent. “The premise of your article is factually false and defamatory,” wrote Miranda Patrucic, the Editor in Chief of OCCRP, over email. “The claim by Dropsite News and partner media that USAID has control over editorial appointments has been disproven and we suggest you read our response to that.” But neither OCCRP nor anyone else disproved Drop Site’s allegations and Drop Site stands by them. And the evidence does not support OCCRP’s claim of journalistic independence.... Sinistar Posted February 7 Posted February 7 (edited) some years ago i read an article about a UN program going into some area in sub-saharan africa and trying to develop schools and combat illiteracy and all this sort of thing in theory that sounds all well and good at the same time they were not merely teaching arithmetic and reading and writing the materials they were learning how to read was the progressive ideas of feminism and things like this you see in the west and they were teaching the girls about the disparity of gender oppression and that the girls were inherently disadvantaged by patriarchy and all the familiar ideas some village used as test run later turned out splintered and broke up when these UN workers checked back up on the village some time later because some of the girls refused to return to their families or their men and refused to participate in the oppression, they refused to do the 'women's work' and the wells were untended and so on and so as a result of this do-gooder attitude often pervading in the west they create these problems a lot of these kinds of government aid programs do not simply come without some motive like that attached to change these socities and so you might find videos of some of these african politicians pushing back recently i saw a couple one against christiane amanpour from CNN and in another vs. a german diplomat each having a discussion with these africans, and their african counterparts are lighting them up christiane is talking down to this african politician like he and his countrymen are vile morons because they do not have the same human rights with respect to homosexuals and his reply was to point out to her that no one from his country travels to hers and tells her how to behave and run things and how to correct her problems then in the case of the video with the german diplomat who was a bit blown away that his african counterpart admitted that his country preferred to do business with china than germany or perhaps the west in general because the chinese are more interested in doing business than trying to woke-ify their countries the way the west does- business with the west or aid from the west always comes with these conditions and strings attached or with this motive to make them satellites of the west to exploit - or at least that was their perception of what all of that is doing in general i see the point- i personally would not want someone else coming to my country telling me what we should be doing any more than i think i should presume to do that to someone else you see the rise of BRICS as a competitor to the west because of what many non-aligned states perceive in the incredible western corruption and hypocrisy preaching every manner of humanisms while the west overthrows governments, nullifies elections, start civil wars or insinuates itself in civil wars and fund rebels and terrorists that the west happens to cherry pick or try to alter their societies with ideas cooked up by someone who fancy themselves experts because maybe a seminar or a graduate studies course they earned a certificate or something in elements on the left used to push back on this sort of imperialism- but lately not so much almost universally they seem onboard with it because it is trump stirring the pot and individuals like soros or the clintons or the obamas are doing it too you see the narratives in the main stream virtually incapable of actually doing any investigative journalism into it instead predictably towing the line for the mainstream democrat establishment and there are only soundbites about trump's illegal or immoral power play Edited February 7 by Sinistar

Sinistar Posted February 7 Posted February 7 we do it to ourselves- which is a good indicator that we might view less sophisticated cultures as needing it even more if you read men's interests magazines even years ago- sport's illustrated, men's health for example- they have been feminized and they are telling men how to be feminists or allies, they contain articles written by feminists instructing men how to think, or vote or behave to be with it it would never go the other way- imagine if men were tapped to write articles in cosmo or appeared on the view and mansplained to the womyn how to be better wives and girlfriends and partners the way the west views the genders is on full display

They had an article about whether the 'luster' was off of living in California. They ignored crime, anarchy, entrenched bureaucracy and the billions spent on the bullsh#t train to nowhere but they beat on about a few million spent in trying to get Newsom recalled

PaulFormerlyinSaudi Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Congress established the agency. Congress ordered the money be spent. The President decided he did not want to.
DKTanker Posted February 8 Posted February 8 18 minutes ago, PaulFormerlyinSaudi said: Congress established the agency. Congress ordered the money be spent. The President decided he did not want to. You're talking about USAID? Then that is incorrect. USAID is an agency created in 1961 by an executive order signed by President Kennedy. What is created by executive order can be undone by executive order. Just ask Joe Biden, or at least the shadowy figures that pulled his strings.
Murph Posted February 8 Posted February 8 The Democrats have not been this hysterical since they were forced to give up their slaves. It appears that Act Blue and many other Democrap rice bowls are now sucking wind for money.
Ivanhoe Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Since we have the Deep State, NGOs, and the MSM acting in concert funded by taxpayers, I think its time we started talking about the Democratic-Fascist Complex.
