There is need of more antitrust actions against BR in the US. The rest of the world is not doing much.

Well, you have Starmer in the UK positioning Blackrock for Agricultural Success on the UK Land Market. But that's not exactly the opposite of NOT MUCH you were alluding to. So.....yeah. 😉

There is no doubt in my mind that Black Rock and other giant firms buying up farmland and residential properties have been bribing the heck out of mortgage lenders and real estate tax assessors, etc. to create distressed properties to snap up.

No point in going after BR unless we also go after their accomplices.

Having bought a new truck last year, I looked at the possibility of a hybrid. One by one the better truck manufacturers pulled their hybrids off the market and upped their electric-only offerings.

Reports are that said actions were mostly at the behest of the federal government (though I suspect some of the more woke execs were all too happy to oblige).

If so, I hope those effers get DOGEpiled.

BR et al were probably bribing appraisers, too. They can be a scummy lot. They caused a local bubble in my neck of the woods.

The, literally, money quote "Bartender Joseph, who’s also worked at a number of DC’s top restaurants and bars, voted for Kamala Harris and says he’s dreading the incoming administration on a personal level. But from a bartending perspective, he sees it as good news. In his experience, Republicans tip more and are generally lower maintenance guests than Democrats. "
