I remember that. Harris looked she had lost her favorite puppy! Great beat down. There is a video where Gabbard goes on the view. One of the "ladies" of the view had quoted Hillary Clinton accusing Gabbard of being a Russian shill. Gabbard pushed back hard. She brought up it was Clinton in 2016 that had used the "dirty dossier" and the "Steel dossier". Both from foreign sources, one of them from Russia with love. And Gabbard had long served in the U.S. Army. The "lady" from the view looked about as beat down as Harris did. I'm not sure what Gabbard's political positions are. I believe she has left the Democratic Party and has become more moderate to conservative. She is a pretty tough operator. She is also one of the few people, other than Rangers & Special Forces, that look good in a beret. I'm glad they didn't have them when I was in the service. Ivanhoe
https://www.racket.news/p/american-stasi-tulsi-gabbard-confirms Quote Tuesday night, while self-styled Democratic nominee Kamala Harris pledged to defend “freedom, compassion, and the rule of law” to cheers in Philadelphia, Hawaii’s Tulsi Gabbard described being tracked by teams of government agents in a surveillance regime more reminiscent of East Germany than a free country. Whistleblowing Air Marshals told Uncover DC Gabbard was singled out as a terror threat under the so-called “Quiet Skies” program, and the former presidential candidate says she noticed. “The whistleblowers’ account matches my experience,” says Gabbard. “Everything lines up to the day.” . Quote The agent told her he’d encountered supporters of a certain former president who’d had no issues traveling before, but were now “marked quad-S every time they traveled.” Gabbard shrugged and slogged through, still encountering extra security. At one flight, she says, there were “at least six TSA agents doing additional screening,” along with canine support. “There were dogs in Dallas when we got there, dogs at a couple of the gates.” . Quote Worse, Empower today says it’s learned that the TSA has already initiated an investigation to identify the two TSA whistleblowers who leaked “sensitive security information” in Gabbard’s case. The firm sent another letter to the IG this morning asking for help in stopping retaliation before it begins. “A retaliatory investigation that hunts for whistleblowers in order to intimidate them into silence is exactly the wrong step for the agency to take,” the firm wrote, adding that the TSA “should be investigating the abuses on which [Marshals] are blowing the whistle.” The TSA has not commented for this article. At his last PR event he randomly wandered up into an empty plane. The white house announced he is no longer taking part in the day to day operations of the white house. I linked that in another thread and now I cant find it. And yes it was from a lefty approved member of the corporate media machine. Yet, somehow despite all this he still holds the office of the president. Even if one subscribes to that narrative, why would that extend to Harris? Except he wasn't a CSM, or even a SGM, he was acting jack SM that has been trying to pass himself off as a CSM. Dude retired as an E-8, not E-9 as he claims. Stolen Valor never gets my vote under any circumstances. And it gets worse. Evidently he was at the SM academy, a requirement for promotion to E-9, when he was notified that his NG unit had been notified for deployment to Iraq. Upon hearing the news Walz up and quit the academy, course work unfinished, and quit the NG returning to civilian life as a retired E-8 Master Sergeant (not the retired Sergeant Major he claimed to be). It isn't stolen valor. When I was in HQ 2/12 CAV, 93-94, our E-8 in S-3 was promotable and sometimes was the acting Division SM for 1CAV. I think people even called him SM. I think just to kiss his ass than a formal thing. That stuff was weird and not my pay grade. But not Stolen Valor since he was acting CSM at some point. Veterans should go by the rank and pay grade on the DD-214 to avoid conflicts. Stolen Valors are usually obese Navy SEAL Combat Sniper Rangers with 99 kills at the age of 19. No one ever lies claiming they were a 19K.

The only question I have are the specifics of how he got out. He got out... so either he was within the regs or his command pulled some strings to make it happen. I'm just curious how that works because apparently he had retired already and signed another contract after 9/11. If you're already over 20 in the NG is contract length irrelevant? Odd to fault someone who got out within whatever rules were governing him after putting in 24 years. As some of his soldiers have commented on he was mulling this Congressional run for a while and retirement paperwork doesn't get filled out and signed off overnight. He claimed in interviews and campaign ads that he was a retired Command Sergeant Major. A lie. He claimed in interviews and campaign ads and rallies that he had carried a rifle in combat. A lie. Those two lies, especially the second are evidence of stolen valor. While a Master Sergeant acting as a CSM, he was supposed to be completing course work for the Sergeants Major Academy. Word I'm hearing from some of my SM (ret) buddies is that he never went to Ft. Bliss for the mandatory two week in house course work for NG and USAR soldiers. Right around this time his unit was notified they would be receiving activation orders for a work up in preparation for deployment to Iraq. He immediately turned in his paperwork for retirement. (And while it isn't overnight, in 1995 it only took two or three weeks from the time I went into S-1 to fill out my paper work to receive my retirement orders.) Nobody starts doing college level work (SMA) and then quits right in the middle of it because....actually he hasn't answered that question. It wasn't because he was deciding to run for congress, he wouldn't be the first Guardsman to run for elected office. Tulsi Gabbard ran for president while a member of the Hawaii National Guard. So we're left with what contemporary peers of his were saying almost twenty years ago, that he quit the NG when his unit was called to action. I was an acting First Sergeant just before I retired, I've never claimed to be a retired 1SG. And yeah, I've actually come across posers claiming to have been a tanker. All Walz needs to do is open up his personnel file.
