Israeli M109 question

The M109 seems to be heavily engaged in the Gaza conflict, going from all the media coverage that I've seen. Is it set to remain in active service for the foreseeable future?

For hurling steel in a permissive environment, the M109 is apparently quite good enough and seems to have plenty of life left.  Unless new threats become apparent, the resources for replacement are better spent elsewhere.

I've actually rarely seen M109 footage in this war. It's likely what you're seeing is rehashed footage. But onto your question - yes it will remain in service until at least the end of the 2020's. The Ro'em has been going through operational tests for quite a while, it should start entering service soon.
