Scaled M4 Sherman drawings

A simple question, but one I'm struggling to find an answer for - is there is source for scaled detail drawings of WWII AFV's?
There's lot of scaled general three views on the web, however I'm struggling to find anything with more meat to it.

I know in the marine field, I can get really good drawings from a number of places to scratch build ships from. Hell there's a Facebook group dedicated to exchanging builders drawings/blue prints, but I've not found anything like the same for AFVs - I'm guessing the ready availability of model kits might have something to do with it?

I've been asked to try and turn up drawings and documentation to support a large scale Sherman build, but really this is a general question.

Seeing as you are getting no other answers....

You could try this. I got my copy about 20 years ago and im not sure its still produced. But it does generate drawings for large chunks of the different variants of Shermans, which you can then print out.

The only negative is, the copy protection is a bitch. In my memory you have to input it numerous times, before the computer finally 'gets' the idea you have inputed a working DVD. But it does work, eventually.

There is also 'Modellers guide to the Sherman' printed by Military Minitures in review. Im not sure how available this still is (My copy was printed in 1999), but it gives a similar breakdown in variants as the dvd above, except, obviously you dont have to load it. :)

If you cant source either of these, tell me what you are looking for and ill have a go at trying to dig out my DVD or the book and do some scanning. I cant promise it will be before the weekend though.

For various Pacific War M4s, I just looked at historical photos of the tanks and crudely customized the kit to reflect specific battles a tad more closely. Good enough for me. If such drawings exist, I might have regrets (^^;
