This website does not show on Google search

As of today (30/04/2024) when I try to use the search command "site:tanknet.org" to look for content inside this forum using Google search engine, it returns an error. The admins might wanna know this.

I think the forum software is configured to not let Google to index the site.

Well, I've tied this again and it still doesnt work. 

Why the administrative staff does nothing about it? Maybe they haven't seen this topic? How would I go about contacting them?

If the site is set to not let Google index it, my default assumption would be that the forum operator is well aware of the issue but simply doesn't want Google to index it.

I thought so as well, but why? Don't they want new people to discover it? Do they fear an influx of "normies" ruining the atmosphere?

Also, the forum's search function is unable to search for three letter words, which are very common among designations for various military equipment models. This is a serious issue for a forum on this very topic.

Again, what's the point of having a forum if other people can't find it? 

If all you want is talk among themselves, you can do it without paying the hosting costs by using a private Discord server.

Discord was founded in 2015. TankNet's origin story begins in the late 1990s. 

There are Tanknet threads more than twice as old as Discord.
