lucklucky Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 (edited) Less ex: WD770 1TB is at 75$ at Amazon, less performing but still acceptable can be had for 50-60$ A 8GB stick of Crucial RAM 8GB DDR4 2400 MHz CL17 Desktop Memory CT8G4DFS824A Green/Black is at 20$ Edit note, need SODIMM memory so this large stick is not correct. The bottleneck will now be the CPU with only 2 cores. Edited February 28, 2024 by lucklucky
urbanoid Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 It shouldn't affect simple stuff like browsing the net, YT, movies etc.

Also, a lesser performing NVME should be perfectly aceptable, as it still would be vastly faster than a HDD. Edited February 28, 2024 by sunday
Ivanhoe Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 Yep, the slowest possible SATA SSD will simply crush the fastest HDD in terms of speed and reliability. An NVMe SSD is like adding a turbocharger.
