Wiuth all the CFD and other computer simulations, I doubt they need to now.  They tested the Concord wing planform on the BAC 221 but it is no doubt cheaper to do something else.

Oh, I didnt mean for testing aircraft anymore. Just that its the only chance we will ever have to see a Halifax or a Stirling back in the air.

There are some guys building a full size Dornier X replica, but I doubt they will ever risk flying it.
