CH-46's for Argentina?

They probably are.  There might be a few that were hidden away somewhere, but I think the USMC was pretty thorough in cannibalizing that inventory.  S/F...Ken M

Maybe a handful could be scavenged into a small working force, but those were in service like a decade past their sell by date.

A lot of countries say they will allow Argentina to buy equipment just to be told at the last minute - after the Argies have spent a lot of money on training etc ... - that they won't sell, like Spain with the Mirage F1 buy. A lot of this interference  is due to the British government.
