sunday Posted March 23, 2024 Posted March 23, 2024 Nazis should be arrested when young. Except in Ukraine. In Ukraine they could dictate government policy.

BansheeOne Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 You guys don't cross-check with other threads on here, do you?
Ssnake Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 Why would anyone bother with looking deeper into a story when you have catchy, one-sided summaries that are designed to obfuscate?
BansheeOne Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 Well, I note there are posters who will scream about the lying, terror-complicit media if an article uses as much as one descriptor they don't like for a group or individual, or fails to check a claim which later turns out to be wrong. Yet they'll uncritically build entire threads out of much worse examples of "journalism" because those fit their own bias. You might expect at least some of the dilligence used on the former for the latter. As I like to say, critical reception of reports you don't like is easy. Critical reception of those which confirm your own opinion all too well is hard, but even more necessary.

They had clear political commentary and it was 2 sided. See also Crossfire. It mutated under Jeff Zucker to being one sided political commentary by people who for example had no clue how a gun worked prognosticating on the nation on how they should be regulated. If you can't tell me what the bullet is that comes out of the barrel of the gun you have no business opining on national tv how laws or policy should be shaped. That's like getting 5 year olds to draft medical policy.

Back then, I couldn't watch any of the Big 3 news channels (ABC, CBS, NBC) but could watch CNN.
Stuart Galbraith Posted March 27, 2024 Posted March 27, 2024 CNN has gone downhill. Bianca Nobilo has left for one thing.

TrustMe Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 He's right, Hindu's use it in there religion. But for some reasons it's coloured pink.
rmgill Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 Buddhists too. I am skeptical that a largely muslim protest movement is going to have many of either type present.
