Clearly what the FFZ needed was another opportunity to attack the UK and cause Stuart to have higher blood pressure.

OK, we admit it. We're the pure embodiment of all that is evil the world, always were, always will be. We will go down whining as the yoke of servitude crushes us beneath its, um, metaphorical, boot-heel, etc., and so forth.

Is everybody happy now?

Considering how the woke are in charge in the UK and the self flagellation has resulted in statues being taken down… perhaps you need to address that to your own woke government leaders?

Firearms equivalent of decaf coffee or non-alcoholic cocktail. :(

Not even close to a real thing, worst thing is that some people with zero military experience will probably declare that "it is totally inferior to M4 with 4x on top in every role".

I would love to see the NFA cut down to just the tax stamp.  But at least FN is doing reasonably well vs how HK treats the US arms market.

Wow, learned something new!

I think the M73/M219 machineguns worked, in practice, in a manner not different from a semiautomatic rifle. Or like straight-pull bolt action rifles, even.

I can certainly see Crips and MS13 members lining up to buy eight thousand dollars plus markup  for a semi-auto Minimi rather than a couple hundred dollars for a hot Glock.  Or cartels paying that instead of just diverting fully auto machine guns from the Mexiican Army.

Thats the thing, well, one of many that falls flat on the gun control argument.

Them im afraid just like Ryan, you are listening to your own tune, and not actually trying to understand what im saying.

I've always marched to my own drummer.  It's kind of an American thing to do.  And if you want people to understand you then you need to learn to communicate better.  Listening is only the second part of communication.

And I've always understood that, living in civilisation, I'm also part of the society that built it. I don't suppose the pilgrim fathers would have got far without leaning on each other. Rugged individualism was great, if you were a gunman. Most people were not.

Thank you, but at least on this point, there is nothing wrong with my communication. There is seemingly something  of a comprehension issue though.

That is an all too believably arrogant statement.

They'll just go black market. NHS will surely create "lifestyle rehabilitation ranches" with substantive physical security measures to keep the addicts in and the peddlers out.

It might be, but considering some of the present company on this thread have already labelled me as a Communist, and others that believe im in favour of blanket censorship, there are some grounds for my believing it to be so. Neither have I ever communicated, or ever believed.

Americans really cannot grasp how we Brits think. Ive spen some 25 years trying to be helpful at showing how different we are, but still the penny doesnt drop. We dont do rugged individualism. As a Society we are different, and always have been.  it wasnt just the Socialists that made it so. Why do you think you guys left?

Just as you don't grasp how Americans think.

Because certain people in England were acting the a-holes which was an affront to "our guys'," then, English sensibilities.  You seem to forget that it was your former countrymen's treatment of their English  colonists in America that created Americans.

Year 2040.  Dystopian Totalitarian Democratic London

Mr. Stuart born 2009 is 31 years old  asks Mr. Galbraith born 2008, 32 years old.

Stuart: Hey G. can you buy me a pack of cigarretes?

Galbraith: Too risky S. money is all digital, government tracks every transation and i am only allowed to buy 1 cigarrette per day, they have digital signature to sense my DNA.   Why don't you smoke pot instead? Government even give it you free.

Is being called a lesbian a defamation or a hate crime?  I am confused.

Who isn't. Maybe the PC term these days is lesbianX.

There is a Predator X already. Argh.

If this case is not overturned I will loose all the respect for the Swiss  - they do(did?) have the best closest thing to popular democracy in the West.

Alas, sic transit gloria mundi...
