the worst thing about all of this is that nothing is fun anymore

if it is on nearly 24/7

and no changing the channel

it is everywhere

it is just tedious and boring

Porridge and granola are among the products included in the UK government’s junk food advertising ban next year.

New rules revealed that the restrictions would include ready meals, stuffed pasta, oat-based cereals, confectionery, soft drinks, ice cream and pizza, as well as savoury snacks such as crisps, pitta bread based snacks, rice cakes, pretzels, poppadoms and salted popcorn.

Whole oats bad. Processed foods good!

the dystopian society tropes were generally describing only the

immobility of social castes hierarchies and tedious and impenetrable bureaucracies

but they generally left basic assumptions about gender intact

none of this neurotic stuff about defining oneself as a trans-centaur or what have you had anything to do with it

likewise the self immolation with multi-culturalism is not really a story trope

using the ussr as a kind of template, it tended to be imagined as the dull homogenization of society often in the form of  clerks or factory workers where each each class looks exactly like everyone else at the same station in the ant farm rather than hyper-identity politics, endless parsing of race and gender cross-sectional check boxes

so the film and literature tropes are the lagging indicator and should be updated to represent

the neurotic appearance of it now

Yes but you get rid of those nasty cows who are bad for the environment. And they can just treat the diabetes with injections of Ozempic.

(That's all sarcasm if it's not clear...)

Yes, because you force people to use it for "moral" reasons. Oat Milk can be a nice thing for people who only have a milk coffee for breakfast. But if you start your day with cereals, you just add more cereals.

I do regularly use soy milk, as I am slightly lactose intolerant. Especially with oatmeal, it tastes well and is better for the stomach. But I still use regular milk for the coffee, as that taste a lot better in a coffee.

More FBI criminality.  The criminals at the FBI hold to no law, ethical standards, or morals in their quest to destroy the enemies of the Democrap Party.  Hopefully justice is coming for them, and many FBI agents will end up jobless or in prison for their crimes.

Further, the FBI has conducted hundreds-of-thousands of illegal searches without proper warrants in recent years.

Something like 95% of Mongolian population is lactose intolerant, yet they tend to drink milk (in various forms) with practically any meal.

Well you can buy lactose free dairy, but that is too sweet to be used with cereals or oatmeal for my taste. Almond milk is also not that bad, especially in winter with some spices it goes well in coffee.

I see those products as additional options and not replacements. It is the same with tofu. I found it absolutely disgusting when served as a meat replacement, but used like the Asians do, it can be very tasty.

There IS apparently a way to fix your lactose intolerance.

I have no problem with that as long as all similar posts and protests with threats have same treatment. Which they don't.
