If there's a party in recent years that can be accused of trying to make the US illegally one party it's the Rs.  Several Trump candidates back in '22 that would have had some control/influence over state elections clearly stated they would overturn elections because they basically couldn't fathom Ds could win and thus it must be shenanigans (thankfully most of these candidates were defeated). 

Meanwhile there is nothing being done to limit the campaigns of every other R candidate for POTUS and Rs control most of the state legislators out there.  If Ds were out to make this a one-party system why are they ignoring everything except Trump?

So if the Rs actually found something they wouldn't then appoint a special counsel from the DoJ that could potentially lead to criminal charges?  Is this why so many Rs complained about the special counsel that was appointed in regards to Hunter... because that's leaving the realm of 'political'?  🙄

Are you also arguing that a politician can never be charged by law enforcement while running for office?  That would then make it political and as such they're untouchable?  That's a bizarre, broken, two-tier system if there ever was one...

The point of the Special Prosecutor is that they're generally independent from anyone above once appointed. 

So what's your solution? How do you explain the clear pattern of going after Trump at this time. Also going after X/Twitter? Also of going after Musk?

I think if you look around there IS some details in laws that DO make it untoward if not impossible to charge legislators while they are in session . It prevents actions like arresting a bunch of opposition party members to skew a vote. 

And again, WHY WASN'T HILLARY CHARGED? What did AG Comey say? No prosecutor would charge her? Why? Because of the optics? Because of the own side offense?

Hillary probably was guilty as well, but her crime with classified information were much harder to document because she wasn't a fucking idiot about it. She made references to classified information on emails then claimed ignorance, and she might have destroyed digital evidence which would be obstruction similar to Trump. But what she didn't do is physically have the classified documents on hand with the classification levels on them and then refuse on several occasions to return them and then actively try to move them around on camera in an obstruction effort.

The bar for trying any highly public figure by any jurisdiction is very high because no DA, judge, or law enforcement organization wants to really publicly trip over their own dick. Trump just made his crime so fucking obvious the DoJ couldn't even ignore it anymore. All he had to do is return the docs after the subpoena and nothing would have happened. Hillary realized she was in trouble and acted rationally to cover things up; Trump realized he was in trouble and reacted irrationally while leaving physical bread crumbs everywhere he fucking went. To the extent there is a "two tier" system, it is between people like you and I - who would have immediately been arrested - and people who are famous or rich. And then there is a subset of tiers between stupid people and smart people. I agree Hillary almost certainly committed a crime and deserved charges; the difference is in how hard it would have been to prove.
