Mike1158
IMHO, the biggest problem is the change in consumption of these topics. The immersive manner of a lot of the assets out there means traditional museums etc struggle to keep up to date. When struggling to maintain the hardware there is bugger all left for investment in new forms of delivery. 3d headsets with the ability to demonbstrate the topics over a class for examp[le, would give a deeper understanding of the topics and be more in keeping with the expectations of younger people/kids. Might just bring in enough to subsidise the remainder of the museum and keep hardware going. Investment circle, I would liken this to the bloody Chelsea tractors that so called sports car makers build. They have a knock on effect of subsidising the sports cars though. End result is a net benefit. Would it work? I reckon yes.
