Probably some Telegram channel or Twitter account that compiled the changing of sides that were reported.

Earlier in this very thread, there were reports that Russian units 'couldn't respond/move because of mobility issues' which would be a good public reaction to tacitly support the Wagner coup.  At least half of that list are in Voronezh, so either on or straddling/flanking the M4.

That'd go a long way to explaining how Wagner got as far as it did in a day.

And Roman pointed out that the ex military Wagner guys and the more junior active military share a dislike for the very upper ranks. The para military police NG probably chose not to cross swords with highly experienced, actual albeit PMC soldiers.

I'll also bet a beer that the lead WAGNER unit was broadcasting "stand down / back off / do not engage us" repeatedly, echoing their boss, for their entire drive North.

Просто уйди, и ужасу придет конец.

A very good bot. :)

Rumour Mill says he is going to replace Shoigu with Dyumin, his former bodyguard. That's the rumour anyway.

I owe some people here a very sincere apology, no excuses.  Some of the posts I made have been completely out of hand and irrsponsible.  I'll get to that when I am clearer and more logical of thought.

So Putin claims it was civil society that stopped Wagner, thanks the soldiers for avoiding violence, and is rewarding them with contracts in the Army.

So that's it, Wagner it seems is done, and Putin is doubling down. What a lot of overhyped crap.

The Leader of the Wagner PMC Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin has spoken for the first time since his attempted “Coup” against the Russian Ministry of Defense stating, “Despite the fact that we did not show any Aggression, a Missile Attack was launched on us. 30 Fighters were Killed and others were Injured. This served as a trigger for our Immediate Advance. One of the Columns went to Rostov, the other towards Moscow. Was not a single Soldier was Killed on the Ground. We regret that we had to Strike at Aircraft, but they Attacked us with Bombs. We traveled 780 km, this is 200km to Moscow and we Blocked all Military Bases and Airfields along the way. Among the PMC Fighters, there are several Wounded and 2 Dead - among them Employees of the Ministry of Defense that decided to join our Cause. None of the PMC Fighters was Forced to March, and everyone knew his Goal. Our March showed Serious Security Problems across our Country but it was never our Goal to Overthrow the current Regime and Legally-Elected Government.”

As for aircraft, that's why they shot down the Mi35

When might that be? (just asking...)

No worries, I think people here are either thick-skinned or too thick ;)

Prigozhin may have touched down in Minsk, or maybe not. Official proceedings against him reportedly abated.

I was half-expecting a night of the long knives as the other shoe to drop after Putin's "everyone I called a traitor this morning can just go home or join Prigozhin in Belarus, great display of national unity by society not getting involved other than taking selfies with Wagner tanks" speech last night, but seems not. Downright stereotypical confronted bully act.

Here was everybody fretting "Putin is a steely-eyed nuclear-armed madman, you don't want to back him into a corner by supporting Ukraine (like fighting an aggressor on your own territory is "backing him into a corner), who knows what he might do?" Well, now we know: Take a plane out of town, let some crony strike a deal on his behalf, and hand out pardons like blowjobs from a crack whore.

Putin giving a minutes silence to the airmen who died protecting the state. Pointedly the honour guard was all airforce, not Army. Almost as if they arent flavour of the month at the moment.

There are conflicting stories about whether Prighozin has gotten a pardon or not. It would seem as if they are, at the very least, keeping that opaque. Either to keep a noose round his neck, or justify his liquidation at short order I suppose.

The regime is very, very fragile right now. The demonstrations he keeps making of stability by wheeling out the troops and his fellow ministers, just underlines that happy Untergang vibe.

STRONK language! Not enough coffee (or too much)? 🙃

Well, I've been fed a steady diet of "Putin is stronk genius 4D chess-playing savior from liberal Western decadence" for the last decade. I am disappoint.
