Mirage F1 is a multirole aircraft with significant fighter capability for the time with radar controlled missiles. That was never the purview of Jaguar.

It indeed seems a good airplane that did not have a big success due to the F-16 American Miracle.

Only roughly 50% of Moroccan F1's are avaliable at any one time. It sad to say it but in a another 5 years no f1's will be flying anymore around the world.

At least two adversary air companies have large F1 fleets, and plenty of Atars still out there in other Mirages and SuE's...although I suppose at some point the engine support must reach end of its tether.
