A few years back, I watched the movie Breach in which Chris Cooper played Hanssen. Pretty good movie, they seemed to keep it realistic. Kind of disturbing to contemplate the moral ambiguity of people in that line of work.

A friend of mine saw a presentation by the CIA at her university. They all but said you had to be morally flexible to be a field officer. what would some warlord would want in exchange for some asset, intel, etc? The worst of it is, there was probably another one at CIA, more damaging than Ames and Hanssen. They are still looking for him. https://www.thedailybeast.com/inside-the-hunt-for-russias-fourth-man-within-the-cia Edited June 8, 2023 by Stuart Galbraith

DB
This has obviously been coming for a while, but it's still sad news. https://news.sky.com/story/amp/legendary-crooner-tony-bennett-dies-at-the-age-of-96-12924922 I loved the relatively recent, and very sympathetic, treatment of "The Lady is a Tramp" with Lady Gaga, but his catalogue is full of excellent works.
