Stargrunt6 Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 This story made me hope Croatia would reach the finals.
Stargrunt6 Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 Watching the replay of this morning's match. The Moroccan team is full of ho's.
jmsaari Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 Seems the French aren't firing on all cylinders. Don't know what's going on with them, there was rumours of some flu bug going through some of the team few days back, but if they don't wake up on half time it could end up an embarrassing final score...
mandeb48 Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 the difficulties of the start will only add to the glory of the French victory
Stuart Galbraith Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 Thats what they said at Dien Bien Phu.
jmsaari Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 Well well, things just got interesting. If the argies dont win they'll only have themselves to blame for not finishing it off when they were dominating...
TrustMe Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 Argentina win on penalties after a trilling 3 -3 score after extra time. WOW.
Stuart Galbraith Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 I thank God. Macron would have been Insufferable.
rohala Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 Though I supported France, I think Argentina deserved it more. The penalties might be 50-50, but this time they went the right way. Excellent match nonetheless.
TrustMe Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 The biggest sporting event in the world is now over. Rock on WC 2026.

jmsaari Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 Unbelieveable final... though i was rooting for ARG from the start, by the time it was on extra time you just couldnt help but feel that nobody deserved to lose that one.
Sardaukar Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 Overall it was quite damn good World Cup, with quite a lot of surprises.
Yama Posted December 19, 2022 Posted December 19, 2022 (edited) 2018 WC is probably GOAT, although the final itself was bit of a letdown (but they usually are). This was perhaps the greatest WC final ever, however. Very happy that Argentine won, especially as I thought French style of play pretty boring and they seemed to be more lucky than good: finally they ran out of luck. Messi worship started to grate my nerves towards the end, most people acted like he single-handedly won the final and all everyone talked was Messi this and that, like if his name actually ended -ah. He was even chosen Man of the Match, though Mbappe and Martinez clearly had more impact. Still, a deserved win. Also, a rare ending where other team actually really was obviously better in penalty shootout. Edited December 19, 2022 by Yama

Though what was meant to be reputation laundering show ended up as more of a reputation-soiling, at least over most of the western world.
DB Posted December 19, 2022 Posted December 19, 2022 It won't matter. Everyone will move on to the next greatest scandal - Elon Musk already took the Twitter-sources-only "journalist" set away from Qatar's dubious record. As far as I'm concerned, the sooner we don't need oil the better.

TrustMe Posted December 19, 2022 Posted December 19, 2022 (edited) Now that the government is putting speed limiters into modern cars, what's the point in having one Edited December 19, 2022 by TrustMe
lucklucky Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 Argentinian politicians happy, they now can hike inflation to 3000%.
