Two burned out M777 tractors (Oshkosh FMTV?) with shrapnel damage, lots of ammunition, but no guns itself (only part of one separate) -how could it happen? Or gun wrecks evacuated for some reason?

P.S. The same on YouTube

The pro-Ukrainians try everything to hide losses of critical western systems. That is why we so far have seen no pictures of the 24 HIMARS destroyed and the 10+ MARS.

Is the intensifier the same as in M-84?

Yes, same as on M-84s except 1st batch (which had "Gen 1+").

It looks that some M777 lost it's feet here. Considering amount of deformation, separation was quite violent.

Yes, no recoil - as if propellant charge was fired without shell in the barrel (for example if there was no shell in autoloader cell, only propellant charge)

Yes, hard to imagine what could cause such separation short of direct hit of HE shell or bomb. M777 is actually massive device, very impressive when looked at by own eyes

This hit was targeted not on barracks but on country restraunt  - pro-Ukrainians expected Russian Governor of the region would have celebration of his birthday there, but taking into consideration limited number of persons killed and injured by 6-missile HIMARS strike, it seems like there was only staff there...

Still, this strike seems to be on the edge of HIMARS range and created debates about possibility of pro-Ukrainians using longer-ranhe version of missiles.

You can see the hinge point, hard to say if it's really deformed or it snapped off during firing. These guns are being used for more than ever intended.

I have looked how those parts look when "just" separated, whole hinge is heavily deformed. U am not sure regular use of gun would deform it, but would not exclude it - 777 is after has all kind of weight savings everywhere.

That gun is at least in line for repairs. But looking how rest of area looks, I would not exclude possibility of it being more heavily damaged.

The lower part of the spade is uppermost here. The blade itself doesn't appear to be deformed in any way, and apart from the mechanism being detached, I don't see how you can claim massive deformation.

Thanks, I stand corrected.

Of course, this doesn't mean the rest of the piece is in good shape.

Or they are just in the LNR:

A Russian milblogger claimed that Russian forces transferred over 200 pieces of equipment from the Kherson direction to the Kupyansk direction, and geolocated footage shows Russian T-90 tanks in Luhansk Oblast headed west.[40] A Ukrainian official stated that a larger Russian force grouping does not currently pose a threat.

200 tanks including T-90Ms, not 200 T-90Ms.

Makes sense.

Still wondering why latest Russian tanks are going towards LNR. Maybe they will be doing bulk of fighting going forward?
