Roman Alymov Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 (edited) Two burned out M777 tractors (Oshkosh FMTV?) with shrapnel damage, lots of ammunition, but no guns itself (only part of one separate) -how could it happen? Or gun wrecks evacuated for some reason? https://t.me/anna_news/43921 P.S. The same on YouTube Edited December 11, 2022 by Roman Alymov
seahawk Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 The pro-Ukrainians try everything to hide losses of critical western systems. That is why we so far have seen no pictures of the 24 HIMARS destroyed and the 10+ MARS.

M777 is actually massive device, very impressive when looked at by own eyes Edited December 11, 2022 by Roman Alymov

Still, this strike seems to be on the edge of HIMARS range and created debates about possibility of pro-Ukrainians using longer-ranhe version of missiles.

You can see the hinge point, hard to say if it's really deformed or it snapped off during firing. These guns are being used for more than ever intended.
bojan Posted December 11, 2022 Author Posted December 11, 2022 I have looked how those parts look when "just" separated, whole hinge is heavily deformed. U am not sure regular use of gun would deform it, but would not exclude it - 777 is after has all kind of weight savings everywhere. That gun is at least in line for repairs. But looking how rest of area looks, I would not exclude possibility of it being more heavily damaged.

The blade itself doesn't appear to be deformed in any way, and apart from the mechanism being detached, I don't see how you can claim massive deformation.
