Foreshortening due to the telephoto lens.  To my eye, that aft-set island looks almost as goofy as the twin islands of the QEs. 😛

To me it almost looks like it could fall off the back of the ship during hard maneuvers

I would hate to be responsible for the ship‘s navigational safety going into the harbour. From the island that far aft visibility of the space directly in front of the bow is zero. She would not meet classification standards for commercial vessels.

It cant enter the harbour, its not dredged deep enough. Its moored in an exclusion zone.
