Ivanhoe
I've seen some mention of WWI on my FB feed, and a pic or two of a poppy, but knowledge of it is fading fast. For we of a certain age, who received at least a basic coverage of major world events pre-Woodstock, we should encourage youngsters to read up on this stuff. Since I have a captive audience of sorts, I do mention one or two historical dates/events in my technical lectures. If y'all have any websites that are mobile-friendly, millennial-friendly, and reasonably accurate, post them here. thx

Ivanhoe
Good stuff gents, but what I need for starters is a high school level coverage of WWI overall; causes, players, casualties, etc. That said, thanks Stuart for the video rec, since I am a reader I was thinking a text website, but these days most yutes will connect with videos better. That tank one will connect, I believe.
MiloMorai
Are movies too long? Passchendaele is a 2008 Canadian war film, written, co-produced, directed by, and starring Paul Gross. The film, which was shot in Calgary, Alberta, Fort Macleod, Alberta, and in Belgium, focuses on the experiences of a Canadian soldier, Michael Dunne, at the Battle of Passchendaele, also known as the Third Battle of Ypres, inspired by stories that Gross heard from his grandfather, a First World War soldier.
