Now if you ask me if I support the 2 large Christian organisations in Germany, then that is a no. The Catholics have way too much paedophilia, the Evangelics are way too liberal.
Stuart Galbraith Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 I read a quote from Stephen King on twitter the other day, to the effect that if he has to pay to use Twitter, he is gone, and to be honest considering all the free writing he is doing for them, by rights they should pay him. Also, in this groundswell of new free speech, use of the 'N' word on twitter went up 500 percent over night. I suppose libertarians probably would see that as some kind of triumph I guess.

Murph Posted November 1, 2022 Author Posted November 1, 2022 Apparently it is so bad Musk has had to lock the "trust and safety" NPCs out, and bring in people from Tesla, SpaceX and his other companies to unfark the mess that the lefty NPCs have made. I have noticed no bots "following" me after Musk took over, I normally deleted 3-4 a day. Also there seems to be less traffic, again bots are being destroyed and so there is less traffic of Democrat stories passed by bots. Twitter has a different feel, even the Linux guys are noticing it, and I follow a LOT of the Linux guys. I am also getting a lot less Democrat/Communist propaganda pushed onto my feed, just Linux and dog stuff.

BansheeOne Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 Pretty much the same as the last 30 years, just rather more expensive (unfortunately) and warmer (and thank God I say). Currywurst still going strong. 😁

sunday Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 3 Big Questions Elon Musk Should Answer About His Plans For Free Speech On Twitter Quote Anyone who had high hopes Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover would usher in sweeping change and transform the platform into an authentic digital public square for robust, freewheeling debate should have had their hopes smashed earlier this week after a series of Musk tweets outlining his plans for the newly formed Content Moderation Council (which sadly I will probably not be asked to join despite my overwhelming qualifications for the job). In short, Musk is relying on a group of mostly left-wing activists with strong authoritarian instincts to guide Twitter’s policies on content moderation — or, as Musk put it, adopting the language of the left, “to combat hate & harassment & enforce its election integrity policies.” So much for free speech absolutism. (...) 1. Why Hasn’t Musk Fired the People Who Orchestrated the Suppression of the Hunter Biden Laptop Story? (...) 2. Is Musk Going to Have Even a Single Conservative on the Content Moderation Council? (...) 3. Will Twitter Keep Coordinating with DHS to Censor Twitter Users and Manipulate Public Opinion? (...)

Murph Posted November 4, 2022 Author Posted November 4, 2022 Something is going on. All employees told NOT to come to work, building locked, computers locked, they will be notified via email who stays and who goes. Interesting.

You realise this is precisely how Charlie and the Chocolate factory starts, right? Modern Industrialist sacks loyal staff, locks up factory for indeterminate time, hauls in a host of Illegal immigrants to run his company, Chaos ensues.
