Friend's experience while working tech support for US company:

- some Karen screaming that something does not work

- turns out that someone set some sort of automated scheduler based on time zone in the US, not in Serbia where actual software is hosted (it is being developed here) and it leads to glitches. Ooops.

- He mails people that are ATM working on software to fix it (it is an easy fix taking no more than 15 minutes) and in his words, makes one of the major mistakes in his life - being good guy he is, he tries to explain Karen what has happened...

- She can not comprehend that there are other time zones than those in US, "Why does rest of the world does not use same time zones as we do, it is so stupid!"

Friend roll for sanity loss. Researches Karen. Finds out that she has master's degree.  Loses more sanity. Says that he did not dig further because in his own words "I could have found out it was in something actually important, and not gender studies".
