For those who are concerned; don't screw a whole bunch of people within days of each other, particularly dudes. Problem solved.

sunday
I vaguely recall of cases of monkey pox among unconventional, same sex, so-called families. And among their pets and kids, then there was little news on that epidemic.

A family that is way too close for comfort that really loves thier pets. It was probably happened but it sounds so sick to be believed. Plus hopefully a very, very rare occurrence. Ivanhoe
https://www.upi.com/Health_News/2023/05/11/WHO-monkeypox-emergency-response/3411683825398/ So it's now called "Mpox" to protect the feelings of simians... Quote May 11 (UPI) -- The World Health Organization announced on Thursday that mpox, formerly monkeypox, is no longer a global health emergency. The announcement was made after the WHO's fifth meeting of the International Health Regulations Emergency Committee on Wednesday regarding the multi-country outbreak of the disease. The committee confirmed that progress has been made in the global response to the outbreak, including in the United States. The committee said there was a significant decline in the number of reported cases compared with the previous reporting period. "In total, more than 87,000 cases and 140 deaths have been reported to WHO, from 111 countries," WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in opening comments to the committee on Wednesday. Ivanhoe
https://www.nbcnews.com/health/mens-health/rise-mpox-cases-chicago-raises-concern-possible-summer-spread-rcna83315 Quote Public health experts expressed measured concern that, similar to other cases of infections that are transmitted through sexual contact, mpox cases could rise during the summer, especially as gay and bi men travel to Pride festivals and other major LGBTQ events. “Without renewed vaccination and prevention efforts, we are at risk for a resurgence of mpox,” said Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, the deputy coordinator of the White House national mpox response. “Vaccine is a really important tool, even if it’s not perfect.” Diagnosed cases have been “increasing slightly” in eight countries in recent weeks, including France and several countries in east Asia, said Dr. Rosamund Lewis, the technical lead for mpox at the World Health Organization. About half of the recent French cases were in vaccinated people.
Ivanhoe
https://dcist.com/story/23/06/06/heres-your-mpox-explainer-as-dc-area-pride-celebrations-begin/ Quote Based on the 2022 outbreak, the LGBTQ community is at most risk of infection. Men who had sex with other men had the most confirmed cases, both nationally and locally. Black and Latinx men were hit hardest, due to pre-existing health inequities such as limited access to information and providers. Apparently, Black and Latinx men of the LGBTQ community don't have access to smartphones and public health clinics?

I suspect it has something to do with the fact that homosexuality is far less accepted in those communities so those who embrace it have way less f**ks to give then a white guy who gets pretty high levels of support for being gay but less supportive of those who screw around. Don't worry, they are working on an enhanced strain with greatly increased lethality; https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-11349241/Lab-Maryland-plans-create-hybrid-monkeypox-strain-contagious-lethal.html Quote The latest monkeypox study is being funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), a research arm of National Institutes of Health (NIH). But the modified virus 'poses an exceptionally high risk' to the public if it accidentally leaks, according to Dr Richard Ebright, a microbiologist at Rutgers University in New Jersey. The team in Maryland would argue their work does not involve 'enhancing' a pathogen because they are swapping natural mutations rather than creating new ones, meaning the hybrid cannot be more deadly than the existing clades. I assume that's only Phase I, Phase II being some sort of gene splicing that makes it airborne or whatever...
Murph
Yeah and they will release it right before the next election to allow them to cheat (again), and the DOJ will turn a blind eye (again), and Big Pharma will make a fortune on "vaccines" that suddenly start killing people (again).....
