Christopher Shores and company with 'Dust Clouds In The Middle East" https://www.amazon.com/Dust-Clouds-Middle-East-Madagascar/dp/189869737X/ref=sr_1_1?crid=RSPNGYEEL9EQ&keywords=dust+clouds+in+the+middle+east&qid=1643563997&s=books&sprefix=dust+clouds+in+the+middle+east%2Cstripbooks%2C389&sr=1-1 Sure it's mainly 'Air War' related but it was, as I recall pretty comprehensive. Leo Niehorster
"Official" sourve: I.S.O. Playfair >>The Mediterranean and the Middle East<< Vol. 1 – The Early Successes against Italy (to May 1941) HMSO, London, 1954. See The Early Successes against Italy (to May 1941) on HyperWar. Ssnake
William Buckingham's "Tobruk" has its opening chapters covering this part of the conflict. But the other books already mentioned are probably more comprehensive. It's focusing on the ground, and has the potential advantage of 50 years of progress in historical research. PCallahan
I recommend Andrew Stewart's "The First Victory: The Second World War and the East Africa Campaign." Quite a good book.

lucklucky
Ok, that put the official history books unavailable. Still you might want to peek the maps Large maps from official history here, the last map have the forces disposition at 10 June 1940 https://issuu.com/rivista.militare1/docs/africa-orientale-vol-i-cartine From page 53-62(in document not in ISSUU viewer) you have some quantities in weapons and men. 75/46 and 75/27 AV are anti aircraft guns. Edit: 75/27 means the gun has 75mm cal and the length of the tube is 27 caliber so 27x75mm. https://issuu.com/rivista.militare1/docs/africa-orientale-vol-ii-testo Here are other maps from Italian Military Geographic Institute https://issuu.com/rivista.militare1/docs/africa-orientale-cartine-testo Edited February 23 by lucklucky
