The final was due to COVID in England itself o that was already a big advantage . Italy was too tired, and lost spinazzola their best player in game against spain. UEFA fined Hungary 100.000 €, three closed matches (one suspended for 2 years), and flying an #EqualGame banner for anti-LGBTQIA+, anti-BLM slogans, throwing water bottles, and operating smoke grenades. UK FA is fined 30.000 € (without the final match) for disturbing the anthem, fireworks, and for trying to blind the goalkeeper with laser. Yama Posted July 15, 2021 Share Posted July 15, 2021 Well, Italy managed to squeeze out the necessary wins, not all that convincing performance but it was enough. Donnarumma is a tough guy to pass even from penalties. English team can be happy about their performance. I still think that England's -96 team was better, but they had tad less luck. Noteworthy that Italy achieved never-before-done Eurovision+UEFA double! Italy was very close at making it to triple with Wimbledon, but Djokovic was just a tad better in the finals.
