It's a lovechild between a minenwerfer and an infantry gun. It is good for the mountain infantry as it light (243kg). Unlike the Belgians, we would probably adapt it to be broken down for mule packing. The carriage isn't robust enough for towing. These are all issues with our Bohlers (which were mostly recarriaged for motorized towing). Indeed I am wondering if we can use the old Bohler carriages for this purpose.

Hmmmm..... a Bohler based 81mm mortar with low-angle capability.....interesting.

Put it on a portee.

Portee requires motorization. Tankovia is only partially motorized by WW2. And heavily concentrated in the Mechanized Brigades. Territorial battalions have limited motorization and lorries are probably much more important for hauling supplies than as portee tractors. Like most continental armies, we have mules and horsies for our infantry, the territorial battalions in particular.

Pssssst!💪

Combined twin barrelled anti-tank gun and mortar/infantry gun on the same carriage, available in 37/81mm or 47/75mm, from Bofors with love.

Combo guns aren't much good. AT guns and mortars do different things. And combos are even bigger and heavier. The Bohler 47mm does have a HE round but it's a lot less effective than a 81mm mortar bomb.

Those combo guns look field artillery size.
