That's no light tank, and I should know. AT 30-35 tons, that's kissing up to T-72 weight. I would say its at the lower weight scale of a MBT.

With protection not even close to them. Hell, not even close to a T-55...

Using IFV hull for a tank is stupidity, it wastes too much space resulting in lesser armor for a given weight.
