Stargrunt6
I ate up FG and NGP 85 like mad and still do, along with Danube front. I loved the games and met some really cool people playing them, including an 8-year vet who was 4 years army and marines each, both times in infantry. After playing TOAW and seeing playthrough's of other operational games, somehow the PzC and MC games avoided the blandness of so many operational games. It's probably the aesthetic of the map and (with modes) unit displays that does it, as well as the sound effects. Ironically, Tiller was a mathematician, and not any kind of graphic designer. This was a truly tragic way of dying, with such an aggressive tumor along with chemotherapy. The world lost an incredible mind indeed. Rest easy and thanks for the games. Calvinb1nav
Oh man, that really sucks. Big loss for the wargaming community.
GJK
Only just seen this, very sad. I'm a big fan of NGP '85. Greg.
