Yes, and his time with the Iraqis was seriously no-fun (and I'm sure he received privileged treatment); it's described in all disgusting detail in his book "Tornado Down". A recommended read for anyone who wants to mentally prepare himself for POW interrogations with the savages.

Yeah, as Ssnake said he wrote a book about it with his pilot. They also did a follow up called Team Tornado, about how the RAF planned to fight WW3 in Germany.

He is actually a pretty good writer, his book on the Spitfire is really good, and he recently did one on the Lancaster.
