sunday
Knowing the performances of Tigers in Afghanistan, that does not surprise me.
alejandro_
Australia has really struggled with the Tigers, they achieved FOC much later than expected and there were all sorts of issues. Logistics were complex because of the distance and small numbers produced.

Could not find the link now, but I recall there was reports of severe lack of accuracy of the onboard 20mm gun because of insufficient rigidity of the turret, high operation costs, and insufficient payload capacity. Mostly high costs. The 30mm is very precise and was used by the French a lot. But sending everything to Europe for reconditioning is simply highly expensive. In addition hot and high performance is lacking compared to the AH-64E, which is in a different class anyway.
