There simply is no integrity in the MSM (which increasingly includes FNC, post-Rupert). LW propaganda output masquerading as news. And looking at political commentary from politicians, journos, and general-purpose people, it is obvious to me that the vast majority of LW Americans feel it is perfectly OK to lie in service of politics/culturewar.

SJWs always lie.
SJWs always project.
SJWs always double down.

They do that in America, and around the world.

I often think that most leftist politicians and media types live by the old W.C. Fields quote:

”Anything worth having is worth cheating for.”

I will also stipulate that this behavior frequently crosses party lines. I don’t think that many of our “public servants” serve much of anyone outside their own areas of interest.

Can the Feds ban fracking?

Mining, drilling, resource extraction is very heavily regulated. They can simply, as a matter of policy not allow the procedures to be used to extract resources.

If you consider gun sales and ammo prices as leading indicators of market optimism, the US will be heading into cannibalism fairly soon.

Online retailers are wanting about $3-4 per round for Winchester Silvertip in 9x19 (which was fairly good stuff in 1990, but by modern standards performs like crap). .380 Auto FMJ is going for $1.30 a round.

If I ever get access to a time machine, I am going to travel back in time to 2018 to tell my 2018 self to buy a trainload of .380 Auto JHP. By 2022 I will be king of my own Caribbean island nation. My palace will make Saddam's palaces look like fishing shanties.

Why .380 Auto(I assume that is .380 ACP aka 9mm kurz) and not 9mm Luger? Bigger difference in price as 9 Luger was affordable and nobody wanted 9 kurz?

Yes, in the US of A, .380 ACP is a.k.a. .380 Auto. 9mm Luger a.k.a. 9x19, .45 ACP a.k.a. .45 Auto.

Its just the weirdness of the American ammo market and industry. Despite the massive increase in concealed carry permits over the last 10 years, the industry just cannot seem to wrap its head around the large market for .380 ACP ammo. This is like the 3rd or 4th time they've run out of inventory on .380, even though the gun makers and retailers are very clear about what is selling like hotcakes.

Biden's enemies list grows longer every day;

“Members of the Biden team who have been nominated or appointed are now moving in laser-like fashion to uncover as much as they can about what looks similar to insurgency movements that we see overseas, where they germinate in different parts of the country,” Brennan warned. “They gain strength and it brings together an unholy alliance frequently of religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians.”

Therefore Enemies of the State.

Plus its usually both bong action and economics.

Dimensionally they are very similar. What makes 9 kurz so popular? 9 Luger pistols can also be small. Is it because 9 kurz works with inexpensive direct blowback actions?

Probably because the Ruger LCP is really popular.

Absolutely, plus the lesser recoil in pocket guns is very appealing. Por ejemplo, my GF owns two .380s because her right shoulder is kinda tore up. The recoil of 9mm in a compact pistol is enough to give her joint problems.

Speaking of which, I just ordered a couple hundred rounds of .380 FMJ for her B-day present. Scored a deal, Winchester white box at a buck a round. That may sound extravagant, but aside from ammo the other thing she gushes over is diamond jewelry. I'm not in that tax bracket yet...

The LCP v1 definitely amped up the .380 market, but AIUI the Mark II isn't selling as well for whatever reason. Probably just more competition. Plus, there are all those new subcompact 9s; the Sig P365 for example.

Yep. Lots a ladies carrying .380.

.380 and 9mm are made on the same presses, so when shortages hit, the plants keep on making 9mm rather than lower value .380.

.357 mag K-frame 4 inch. Built in ammo catcher.

A 4 inch GP100 in stainless is on the list. I did see a 5 inch GP100 on one of the gun classified sites today, but finding a LH holster for a 5 inch GP would be about as easy as finding a winged narwhal with a butterfly tattoo.

I really want an SP101 in .22LR, but they're unobtainium. I talked to the store manager of a fun shop, Ruger isn't even answering the phone.

Former vice president Joe Biden promised on Wednesday to adjust his physical behavior toward women, an effort to quell controversy over whether his intimate style is appropriate in the era of the #MeToo movement.

Biden addressed critics in a video posted to Twitter as three additional women told The Washington Post on Wednesday about encounters with him that made them feel uncomfortable. Their stories bring the total number of people who have expressed concerns about alleged interactions with Biden to seven. Other women defended Biden, who has been seen by many women as an advocate for them.

Quote

The reexamination of Biden’s behavior toward women began last week after a former Nevada legislator, Lucy Flores, wrote that she felt uncomfortable after Biden allegedly held her shoulders, smelled her hair and kissed her head in 2014.

Quote

Six other women have shared similar stories to Flores’. D.J. Hill and Caitlyn Caruso, who told the New York Times on Tuesday that Biden had made them feel uncomfortable during encounters with him, did not respond to requests for comment.

I have a pocket 9mm that is a handful, slightly unpleasant to shoot. Its doable though I'm not a burly guy. Grip strength is key with small guns.

Though the micro 380s offer very deep concealment.
