In, or outside the Beltway? Problems don't go away just because you ignore them. It's kinda like blocked drains, you can ignore it for a decade or so, but sooner or later you are going to be standing in rainwater. Donald Trumps skill was in ignoring problems. Now someone is gonna need a plumber on speeddial. Edited January 20, 2021 by Stuart Galbraith

Ivanhoe
Given the animus that the incoming Biden administration has voiced towards whites, one might wonder where Canada is on Biden's enemies list.

It's OK, we sent Biden a picture of our PM in blackface to trick him. Quite the scandal, the white racists and extremists in the National Guard. Why, all of 2 out of 25,000 were sent home, 10 taken off mission, 0 out of 25,000 were arrested. That's only a 99.952% pass rate.
BansheeOne
Now that Biden’s sworn in, is the thing decided, or is there still another date foretold by Q at which Trump's plans will be revealed, the Kraken released, martial law declared, the traitors arrested, and the thousand-year reign of the Orange God King on Earth will commence? If not, will we finally get a proper communist dictatorship in the US this time? We were promised that twelve years ago already, but the closest thing we got was a healthcare system that works kinda like that of Switzerland, sans Swiss efficiency. nitflegal
It is nice to know that the right has the same type of fools that thought Hillary was going to magically become president four years ago.
Der Zeitgeist
Well, a Democratic president takes the oath of office, Jennifer Lopez sings, and it feels like we're back in the 90s already. 😃

Ive only wished two things, that it thinks for longer before blowing the crud out of someone, weighing up carefully the consequences. And in foreign policy, that it was consistent for more than 4 or 8 years at a time. Other than that, smack away, I'm sure they are asking for it. Stuart Galbraith
Justin Trousersnake is playing next. I can speak for his policies, but Biden's MP3 playlist must suck. Edited January 20, 2021 by Stuart Galbraith

nitflegal
‘A Betrayal’: Georgia Voters Enraged After Democrats Promise of ‘$2000 Checks’ Becomes $1400 Under Biden Stimulus Plan https://www.mediaite.com/election-2020/a-betrayal-georgia-voters-enraged-after-democrats-promise-of-2000-checks-becomes-1400-under-biden-stimulus-plan/?utm_source=mostpopular I suppose in the past I would have felt bad for this betrayal of the voters but I just don't. In this era of the internet and smartphones there is simply no excuse for voting stupidly. Democrats have a long history (so do Republicans) of making tons of promises for the vote and then doing the crap that their opponents warned that they would. If they don't like it they can start bombarding their congressidots today and promising they will be gone in two years if they don't stop this crap. But they won't. At this point the public is generally simply too dumb to use the checks and balances the Founders gave us because that would be like totally hard work. Which strangely enough is how their almost always reelected representatives govern as well. Hell, at this point my daughters are Amazons with a decade plus of martial arts, way smarter than me (takes after my wife), very good with blades and firearms and pretty good at languages and manipulation. I figure I have a better chance at a good retirement and future for my daughters if the debt crash happens, we end up in a post-apocalyptic wasteland and they are either the warlord of the wastes or his manipulative scheming wife.
