Youtube really has no end of surprises. I recognise this guy from some other tank videos (lucky enough to drive a T-64 around some training area as well as a number of other vehicles).

One thing a vehicle like this always makes me question is that the cab in front creates quite a deadzone for the guns themselves. I realise that it would only be a major issue if the target was a ground-based one and it was directly in front of the vehicle but still I can still imagine it would cause a problem in some engagements - particularly an ambush situation.

 

It looks like the story of the ZU-23 isn't quite over yet then. Is this the replacement of the BTR-ZD in service with the BMD-equipped VDV units?
