The silent majority has been silenced. I shudder to think what it will take to turn back the madness.

School Principal fired for offering her opinion on BLM

https://www.vnews.com/Windsor-High-School-Story-34741525

WINDSOR — School officials moved to fire Windsor School Principal Tiffany Riley on Friday after she wrote a social media post seen as critical of the Black Lives Matter movement.

The post, written Wednesday on Riley’s personal Facebook page, said she believes “black lives matter” but “I DO NOT agree with coercive measures taken to get this point across; some of which are falsified in an attempt to prove a point.”

This is what she wrote on FB.

I firmly believe that Black Lives Matter, but I DO NOT agree with the coercive measures taken to get this point across; some of which are falsified in an attempt to prove a point. While I want to get behind BLM, I do not think people should be made to feel they have to choose black race over human race. While I understand the urgency to feel compelled to advocate for black lives, what about our fellow law enforcement? What about all others who advocate for and demand equity for all? Just because I don’t walk around with a BLM sign should not mean I am a racist.

We must have slipped into a parallel universe at some point. It is disappointing beyond words to see institutions behave like this.

Trump has the maturity of a 3 year old, but stuff like this makes him look like the adult in the room.

If that silent majority exists, people better start speaking up against this madness. Now.

The left needs votes from the young. They are least difficult to change minds. The older voters that go Trump won't change. Many young voters don't vote. But by energizing a crafted crisis, they can get more young people to vote. But the young are young. So when the young react in support of the leftest created crisis, the right tend to knee jerk react with "you stupid idiot". The left can count on that. So then the young voters become solidly left. The world is complex with many things to many learn. To some extent, it isn't the fault of the young voters. Young are young. If the right are smart, they would have more patience and trying to explain to the young. Of course a time and space is necessary for that. I couldn't expect that to work well on the streets when the yong have already set their day aside for protesting. So other spaces that have the time would be needed to be mad available for a good lengthy discourse. But foxnews is anything but that. It's full of "you're stupid" in their reporting even if they have valid points to make. So the left media can continue to hit on the buttons that naturally appeal to young people.

The Free Market finds a way

It does indeed, as a quick check of the news shows that the private security biz is booming in NYC.

I think the mob steps up to protect certain neighborhoods as well.

CHAZ apparently now being relabeled as "Africatown" (aww... I was hoping for Wokekanda, Soymalia, or Veganzuela).

We at the City of Seattle understand the urgency behind making bold investments in the Black community and increasing community ownership of land in the Central District.

The City believes in the vision behind the William Grose Center for Cultural Innovation and we remain committed to making the transfer of Fire Station 6 to the community a reality.

We have received Africatown’s list of community requests along with a longer list of asks from other black-led organizations.

Deputy Mayor Shefali Ranganathan has already met with the King County Equity Now coalition and, on behalf of Mayor Durkan, she will be working with Seattle Department of Neighborhoods and Seattle Office of Planning and Community Development to work on next steps with the community.

That'll go swimmingly. Fires will no longer be racist.

I’m afraid in modern society, where “old” and “young” do not share workplace anymore (like it was on old big plants), do not socialize together (as it once was in pubs or village holidays or churches), where extended family is no more living together etc. there is next to no place for this discussion.

Btw, InRange TV linked a video called What you dont know about Confederate monuments. Has anyone a link to it? Can't find it anymore.

Is this the one?

No. Some guy in grey uniform sitting in front of a computer and presumably ranting about the official narrative.

There are still places or places of opportunity to do it.

Veganzuela would get my vote. Incompetence is voted in on promise of a paradise where everything is for free.

After reading the first sentence, the synergy of hot coffee's aroma and flow almost made through my nasal passages. Well done!

While I understand the urgency to feel compelled to advocate for black lives, what about our fellow law enforcement? What about all others who advocate for and demand equity for all? Just because I dont walk around with a BLM sign should not mean I am a racist.

The BLM is triggering dumbed-down knee jerk reactioning. For any individiual to be providing either political or financial to it is a big detrimental force.

Looking into Floyd's history, seems like he tried to make a career in sports, but somehow couldn't make it. No father since age 2. Got into trouble with drug possession but no idea if as a usdr or a seller and of which type of drug, maybe various, served some time, but maybe afterwards, turned things around to more positive outlook, but still struggled to find work and had 5 kids by then, comes the virus, lost his job to it, got the police called on him for trying to by cigs with fake money, died from execessive knee back force. While the officer, he has been working in Minniapolis since 2001 and achieved some recognition awards aroun 2009 but maybe his outlook become more negative to life in general after being in the force in that city for so long.

BLM is trying to get millions of people behind a movement on the basis of dumbed down "white oppression" when there is no concrete discussion about how the paths that these two lives went down. Why should Floyd have committed his years through to the late 20s in sports without an exit? Washe humble enough to just settle for a job at the grocery store after failing in sports? Was he financial binded to debt from the colleges that he went to? Could the education system be partly seen as a cause? And how many cases or experiences has Chauvin? Maybe he did "just snap"? He still committed the murder in the end so punishment for killing Floyd is still well in place. But there's a whole societal thing going on here that contributed to the tragic end and just racism doesn't seem to have a part in it. It should be a local or state level protest on the local police department that seeks deeper understanding. Not this shallow knee jerking being kicked around nationwide and globally by those that have more interest in political gain than the actual case itself.

Just to add to this thought, in this video of critique on Dave Chapelle's 8:46, some more details about Floyd's crime history which included meth was included.

This alone shows how racist the USA is. Who the Russian Romanians are? Hungarian Russians? German Slavs?

belarusian, many russians, lithuanian-russians etc. are probably jewish by other name, either czarist era escapees or maybe 1970´s

some latvians might be also filed under jewish diasporaa, but others (and almost all estonians) are from ww2 refugee wave.

It's steps closer to civil war. I don't see it being averted at this point.

Posted

I do see it being averted, as kicking the can down the road while shouting down the opposition is easier than sitting down with it and finding solutions that move everyone forward. Neither side appears ready.

The right has been QUITE ready. But we don't control the cities in question.

I'm afraid you are wrong - all "combined ethnicity " dots are for people who report one branch of his family coming from one ethnicity/origin, another branch - from another ethnicity/origin, probably listed in alphabetic order. For example Hungarian Russians are people with Hungarian mother and Russian father (or Hungarian father and Russian mother).

The Federalist is a main stream conservative news and commentary site. Google has just demonetized their advertising because NBC News complained they wouldn't go along with the fiction that the protests were mostly peaceful despite whole neighborhoods being burned out and looted and several people, including police being injured and killed.

The Federalist wouldn't go along with NBC's lie that the riots are "mostly peaceful," so Google stripped its ad revenue.

America's cities burn. You can see it with your own eyes. But if you don't pretend it isn't happening you'll be destroyed.

Welcome to Tiananmen America.

Stop calling it a civil war. Start calling it The Purge. I think if we stood down all LE for 3 months, a whole lot of problems would be resolved*.

* Keep in mind that I smugly post this from a locale where a substantial percentage of residents have been on the two-way range.
