that is where i think some on the right have it wrong

if they think it is mostly marxism taught in education

sometimes that is what i hear from parents i know

that the schools and universities are breeding grounds to cultivate marxism

 

it has evolved well past marxism to CRT/ feminism / identity politics and into some form of  inner city playground or prison yard politics:

 

you do not settle it with logic or facts you settle with fists

 

it is a shakedown

if i get you to agree that you owe me for something that i say that you owe me

then you are becoming that thing which does that as i keep the demands going

because that never ends once you agree to it the first time

 

these people do not actually dream of being marxist

 

they like their 401ks and their therapists and their selfies and social media  and consumer lifestyles and apple smart devices and so on

they are not austere communists of the land living on communes doing manual labor in factories or on farms

they are trying to rig the game in their own favor: "gimme gimmee gimmee because i am _____________ and you are __________"

there are two competing values:

 

- equality, as in everyone is equal. equal before their creator, equal before the law, or just plain equal- no distinctions whatsoever and anything which is there is social construct and therefore not real

and

- diversity, as in we value diversity and the differences which diversity brings

 

the more you add one the more you must subtract from the other since they are directly opposed to one another

the basic dilemma is to try and have it both ways

is it good to have equality- in the interest of justice and fairness and equal application of rules

at the same time is it good to have a diverse talent pool- yes diversity brings individual strengths and

makes the whole better

 

this is basically what i have seen out of everyone

including the so called marxist in the west

they may sort of espouse something like that in lecture halls or in their essays but nonetheless they all still want to earn high incomes and participate in the consumer culture and stand out in their social media networks and get their likes

and followers and so on

nowhere in the west do you actually see the image of someone carrying around a manifesto in a little red book or something like this where manual labor is held in very high esteem

 

for all intents and purposes everyone is a consumer, lives a consumer lifestyle and wants whatever they can get

 

so even if they appended some of the same language from marxism, they do not behave that way at all

actually more of the opposite in fact where everyone is competing to be a special snowflake due any privilege

or advantage they can strong arm out of everyone else

 

anyone can go to youtube and see the kinds of citizens produced out of all of this as a result- often spoiled, immature

emotionally disregulated adolescents trapped in adult bodies as they act out in public lose their tempers over nothing, cannot be reasoned with and so on until some public hissy fit gets them picked up or something by the cops

where they continue to the tantrum

 

just a couple of years ago there was some row over the rainbow flag and the lgbqt + groups because the rainbow flag did not contain a racially diverse 'brown' or 'black' color in the rainbow- which is stupid because that would suggest the original rainbow flag literally means there are green and purple people walking around, and it was deliberately meant to be all inclusive regardless of color or race or whatever- and that is the problem- the next woke iteration rejected inclusivity which was the original mantra and opted instead for exclusivity - they want special attention and privilege in that cohort
