Tavor is junk, according to many Israelis who have used it.  Maybe not L85 level junk, but certainly substandard.

I just know it looks cool, and some Police Departments have issued them.  I am not a bullpup fan at all, even the Steyr AUG is awkward for me.

Problem is not only that it is bullpup, problem is that it is hard to clean, that junk accumulates in trigger mechanism, that ejector "spring" is a piece of rubber that gets damaged by oil, etc, etc. In civilian hands most of those problems will not show, but in the intense military use they exist and have lead to decision to not acquire more Tavors, but to get back to M4 A1s (which Tavor was supposed to replace).
