Perhaps its because they know that when Black Police kill White Citizens, they know full well the police unions will pull the carpet from under them, and they will get the book thrown at them? Such as that case where the muslim cop shot the Australian lady? His feet didnt touch the ground. Look at how long they dragged their feet over the Floyd case, or how long it took them to throw the book at the guys who killed the black jogger. Its two entirely different track systems.

im not sneering at America, I know full well we have this problem in my own country, so I do not claim superiority in any way. But you cannot say there isnt an issue, because these keeps happening time and again. When Black people say they feel like second class citizens in ALL of our nations, they have a point. They are. Most White people didnt get that. After watching the Floyd video (and the Rayshard Brooks video for that matter), they sure as hell get it now.

Im sure some are communists and parasites and anarchist any organization does. The vast majority clearly want to see the issue dragged out from the rut its been in for decades, and I cant fault them for it.

It's truly stunning how much of what you know to be true is actually false. Congratulations.

By "not touch the ground" you mean waited nine months until charges were laid?

Where does he get his information? Floyd's accused killer was charged after 5 days. Noor was after 9 months. He brings up examples that directly contradict his point on face and in depth.

The statue of an Elk in downtown Portland has been engulfed in the flames of an Antifa bonfire because Elk Lives Matter or something.

he apologized, but it didn´t matter, he got fired.

Crazy how (mostly from conservative / right wing side politicians) make rather stark statements once in awhile, and then just as easily get to their knees and say I´m sorry - didn´t mean it that way.

You can be sure statues of Marx, Keynes etc will not be toppled.

Btw, did anyone noticed how bullying suddenly stopped being a hot media word?

Bullying has been redefined as "peaceful" protesting.

Well, MOSTLY peaceful. It's striking how they don't just march and chant anymore, they are quite literally the epitome of the spittle flecked screaming crazies. Is there a word stronger than unhinged?

A stronger word than unhinged? Yes, it is "liberal."

You really don't know what the word really means... Since some conservatives appear to not know the left and the changes in the left they are obviously ill prepared to fight them.

The current Left is not Liberal it is Marxist.

It is actively seeking and creating classes to exploit and divide.

This is the product of the 2 institutions turned into most pernicious ones: Universities and Media result of being taken by Marxists

You are really a one feed.

White people in America suffers much more black violence than the inverse. Would you participate in a march of white people protesting that?

Tony Timpas rings a bell to you? It is on video. Did the marxist-media that you suck to, made it a national case?

Then ask why it did not.

The Marx statue in Trier is on private property and was bought by China. I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of the flowers there were laid down by Chinese tourists. But of course there are a few die-hard commie bastards in Germany too, or their fellow travellers who would maintain the supposition that Marx himself was a peaceful sociologist and philosopher.

I suppose we can all agree that he was "influential".

I went and read up on the Lenin statue in Seattle, and the story would have Lenin rolling in his grave:

(1) Unlike most statues of Lenin showing him as forward-thinking and looking to educate people with a trademark book in his hand, the statue was designed as a critique of Lenin and the Communist Revolution complete with flames and rifles following him along as he walked.

(2) It was originally displayed in (Czecho-)Slovakia and bought by an English teacher in Seattle after seeing a homeless man sleeping in it in a junkyard. He had it shipped home because he wanted to put it in front of a Slovak restaurant he was planning on opening and use it as something eye-catching to attract business.

(3) The owner died before he could open the restaurant, and his hometown (a Seattle suburb) didn't want it there. The guy's family went to have it melted and repurposed into another statue, but the foundry said to preserve it because they could get more money for it as it was compared to a new sculpture because it was a curiosity. So the family put it in a trust, and a trendy neighbourhood in Seattle said they would take it because they display all sorts of odd artwork.

(4) There was some initial grumbling about where to put it, but a shopping centre said they'd take it, and placed it between a taco shop and an ice cream parlour. Can't find a picture but apparently for a couple of years Lenin wore a sombrero for Cinco de Mayo and would hold a giant ice cream cone in his hand during the Summer. One Christmas he was dressed like Santa with a large Red star shining on top of his head.

(5) It's been moved to another commercial place since then, but it spends most of its time painted in some sort, either through vandalism (His hands are usually dripping with blood-red paint) or commercial interests, like how a local burrito shop had him holding a massive burrito as an advertisement. In an interview a clerk at a shop in the same shopping centre said they like the statue because it's a great way to attract shoppers by saying "We're next to the Lenin Statue/Next to the dirty commie, etc."

(6) The trust is still trying to sell it, and their asking price goes up every year. It's privately-owned and sits on private property, so unless a mob wants to go and take it (Hey, it's 2020 and idiots are tearing anything down that's made of metal and resembles a human being, so not out of the realm of possibility...) there's not much that can legally be done to remove it.

I get the criticisms of a Lenin statue in probably the most Far Left metro area in the country, but after reading about the statue, it makes me laugh at the irony that Lenin spends most of his time with the blood of innocents dripping from his hands or selling Mexican food rather than serving as encouragement to the Vanguard of the Proletariat.

Do lives matter? https://thefederalist.com/2020/06/30/under-sworn-testimony-planned-parenthood-officials-admit-infanticide-occurs-in-organ-harvesting/

[V]ideos of witnesses under oath show that not only did the abortion giant
from the sale of fetal organs, but that Planned Parenthood and its business partner, Advanced Bioscience Resources (ABR), violated federal law that mandates a fetus born with a beating heart is a human being equally entitled to protections under the law.

"Placing an order for body parts from a born alive infant uses the means of interstate commerce to obtain the death of a human being through organ harvesting," Daleiden says in the video. "If the federal law is applied equally to born-alive infants, this is murder for hire."

Unadulterated horsesh!t, Stuart.

Are there people who are racist? Yes. Is the US (or the UK) systemically racist? No. They *feel* that way because they are told from childhood that they are 2nd class, not by most people but by their own self-appointed leaders: Black, white, and otherwise. They are told the lie often enough that they believe it, and sadly many live it.

And, unfortunately, so do a lot of other people who ought to know better, yourself apparently included.

Didn't fix it, added to it.

We have no alternative but to fight the intolerance of idiots

We must speak for free speech before it's too late. What happened to renowned economist Harald Uhlig and J.K. Rowling is a red light. Op-ed.

Hachette employees are not new to this type of protest. A few months ago they clashed with the board of directors of the publishing house for the publication of Woody Allen's memoirs and the project was eventually abandoned. The price for sacrificing Rowland was certainly too high, it is something like £ 795 million.

But what becomes of a much less famous but excellent writer who speaks out against gender theory? In the Wall Street Journal, Abigail Shrier told readers what is happening to her book, "Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters", an essay against gender theory. Its publisher, Regnery, received a response from Amazon that it would not be authorized to post a paid ad for the book. Amazon's stated reason for blocking the ad - a simple cover image - was this: "It contains elements that challenge sexual orientation.”

A few days before that, a chorus of economists and former Fed chiefs and the usual digital herd on Twitter were all trying to destroy the director of one of America's leading academic publications, Harald Uhlig of the University of Chicago, the best-known German economist in the United States, after he dared to criticize Black Lives Matter. The posts sparked a quick backlash, including criticism from several colleagues in Chicago and a petition calling on him to step down as editor of the Journal of Political Economy, one of the five industry magazines in America, which has now put him on leave. Then, as often happens in these lynchings, other journalists, like gravediggers, started doing digital archeology in the old Uhlig posts.

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Janet L. Yellen also campaigned against Uhlig. Speaking to Die Welt, Uhlig said: "The professors of economics should take a position from their ivory tower on specific topics [only]." The New York Times reported that she said in an email on Wednesday that “the tweets and blog posts by Harald Uhlig are extremely troubling” and that “it would be appropriate for the University of Chicago, which is the publisher of the Journal of Political Economy, to review Uhlig’s performance and suitability to continue as editor.”

Uhlig said he received many emails from colleagues who expressed solidarity with him, but who don't dare to do so publicly. Some even wrote to him under a pseudonym. It is easy to understand why nowadays.

So now both the NYT and the WaPo have run editorials aiming the bullseye right at Mount Rushmore. Apparently, it wasn't racist until Trump was elected.

They're coming for it.

I get your point and your last sentence strengthens today's meaning of the noun liberal, not the classical meaning of the word. Just as the left has corrupted the word "gay" so has the left corrupted the word "liberal."

If you call them Liberal you can't effectively fight them. You don't go to what they think, why they think that way. It is just a diversion.

As millions of Americans escape home quarantine to the great outdoors this summer, they'll venture into parks, campgrounds and forest lands that remain stubborn bastions of self-segregation.

There seems to be increased hostility to the countryside in general from pundits of urban areas. According to the article at the bottom, Dems don't even like the suburbs.

Boeing Embraces the Cancel Culture By Firing a Senior Executive For a 33-Year-Old Article

Case in point. In 1987, for those of you who majored in gender studies that was 33 years ago, a Navy lieutenant and fighter pilot named Niel (that is not a typo) Golightly wrote an article for Proceedings of the US Naval Institute, the professional journal of the US Navy, called No Right to Fight. The thesis being that women have no right to serve in combat units and the very fact that they are there, regardless of ability, is detrimental.

I'm old enough to remember when segregation was bad a few years ago.

I am old enough that I remember when Racism was a real issue, and the end of Jim Crow happened. I also remember when it would have been illegal (felony) for me to have married my wife. The Democrat Party, always has been, always will be, and currently is the party of Slavery and segregation. I am also old enough to remember when the Communists were the ENEMY, and the Berlin Wall was still a fact. I saw the wall up close and personal, I also saw East Berlin up close and personal. It sucked. I hate and loathe both, racists and communists.

I agree--especially those not from Eastern Bloc countries. From from what I've normally seen, Eastern Bloc countries would commission statues of Lenin as a peaceful bringer of the Good News of Communism, and the sculptor said he included the flames and guns on purpose because he wanted people to remember that The Revolution usually comes with bloodshed and violence, and Lenin wasn't the peaceful fellow the propaganda tried to paint him as.

I'd fancy a Stalin statue ramming an icepick into Trotsky.

Though I haven't studied his writings in detail, my impression is that Trotksy probably was the even bigger asshole. That doesn't make Stalin a good guy, of course.
