You can be sure statues of Marx, Keynes etc will not be toppled.

Btw, did anyone noticed how bullying suddenly stopped being a hot media word?

Yep.

There'd actually need to be statues of Marx to tear down in the first place...

In Germany there is a shrine to Marx at his birthplace. It is full of flowers.

I'm not one to ban forms of political expression, but I'm at a loss as to why that town is proud of that particular son, considering the countless millions of people who have been slaughtered in the name of his ideas.

Apparently there are none of Karl Marx in the United States, but there are several of the murderous Lenin and murdering racist Che' Guevara. They will not be toppled, never.

Bullying has been redefined as "peaceful" protesting.

Does the conspicuously untouched Lenin statue in Seattle count?

Well, MOSTLY peaceful. It's striking how they don't just march and chant anymore, they are quite literally the epitome of the spittle flecked screaming crazies. Is there a word stronger than unhinged?

The Marx statue in Trier is on private property and was bought by China. I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of the flowers there were laid down by Chinese tourists. But of course there are a few die-hard commie bastards in Germany too, or their fellow travellers who would maintain the supposition that Marx himself was a peaceful sociologist and philosopher.

I suppose we can all agree that he was "influential".

Right in the center of Berlin is a statue venerating Marx and Engels on the appropriately named Marx and Engels forum.

A stronger word than unhinged? Yes, it is "liberal."

The Catholic Church needs more men such as Reverend Theodore Rothrock of Carmel, Indiana

Rev. Theodore Rothrock, of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carmel, Indiana telling the truth of BLM.

“The only lives that matter are their own and the only power they seek is their own. They are wolves in wolves clothing, masked thieves and bandits, seeking only to devour the life of the poor and profit from the fear of others. They are maggots and parasites at best, feeding off the isolation of addiction and broken families, and offering to replace any current frustration and anxiety with more misery and greater resentment.”

Pretty self evident Murph. How can he be so holier than thou about BLM, when after all this all kicked off because a policeman thought he could murder a Black man on the street in front of the general public and get away with it?

He can wag his finger at communists and parasites all he likes, and Ill share his opinion of such. But the vast majority flocking to the BLM banner are ones that were horrified at what happened to George Floyd, and im sorry to say, I dont get how a Catholic minister can be so bloody obtuse as to not see it as such.

Are all those people who threw that Cabot statue in Bristol harbour maggots or parasites too? Self evidently not. So you will pardon me for saying so, the man is talking out of his ass.

Im glad to see his Bishop didnt see things the same way. Good for him.

Although I listened directly from the organizer of the BLM march in Tokyo and she said nothing about appreciation to Tokyo for letting her march despite the virus situation and nothing about appreciation of Japan in general. And her interview who interviews many black Americans in Japan never gives an indication of actually caring or knowing anything about Japan. Many of the black Americans he interviewed were quite positive overall about their experience in japan and spoke in the position of understanding to live in Japan is to be like that of Japan culture. But the interviewer seemed to be me to give priority of American blacks racial justice priority over anything Japan. So while I think the minister was sloppy in words to apply such words to literally everyone behind the movement, but I don't think he is terribly off the mark about the organizers or other higher ups in the movement. All that the whole American problem extended by BLM all the way out here did was make dealings awkward for Americans in Japan. The reality, and truth is, is that BLM is a liberal horror. If race is so sacrosanct among the left and BLM, why is there no outcry when black police kill non-blacks? When black police kill blacks? Where are the loudspeakers when Planned Parenthood -- a mostly white, liberal institution -- kills thousands of black babies? Where are the marches in black neighborhoods when mostly young, black men kill other blacks, including children? Why does a whore of the liberal pimp-- the Democratic Pairy -- have separate Black and Hispanic Caucus's? Separate but equal? The truth can go on and on about the two face BLM slave and it's Marxist master.

Rev. Theodore Rothrock, of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carmel, Indiana is a shining example of 1 Corinthians 16:13

"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong." The Reverend's truth needs to be repeated "“The only lives that matter are their own and the only power they seek is their own.
There is true evil in this world and that evil is liberalism!(I am, of course, using U.S. political definitions.)

Perhaps its because they know that when Black Police kill White Citizens, they know full well the police unions will pull the carpet from under them, and they will get the book thrown at them? Such as that case where the muslim cop shot the Australian lady? His feet didnt touch the ground. Look at how long they dragged their feet over the Floyd case, or how long it took them to throw the book at the guys who killed the black jogger. Its two entirely different track systems.

im not sneering at America, I know full well we have this problem in my own country, so I do not claim superiority in any way. But you cannot say there isnt an issue, because these keeps happening time and again. When Black people say they feel like second class citizens in ALL of our nations, they have a point. They are. Most White people didnt get that. After watching the Floyd video (and the Rayshard Brooks video for that matter), they sure as hell get it now.

Im sure some are communists and parasites and anarchist any organization does. The vast majority clearly want to see the issue dragged out from the rut its been in for decades, and I cant fault them for it.

First, BLM is not about George Floyd, and never was. Second, the BLM movement was created in the wake of the 2015 Ferguson lie. Lastly, BLM is specifically about moving Marxism forward using useful idiots such as yourself that believe this is about isolated incidents, all you have to do is listen to the words of BLM founders to educate yourself.

What is frightening is that people who criticize BLM are being silenced. Silenced as being thrown out of universities. Silenced as in losing jobs. What is more frightening than even that is that more and more people such as yourself believe silencing is a good thing.

This is absolutely abominable. A girl on Tiktok dares to criticize the Black Lives Matter movement for being hypocritical and she gets expelled from a so-called Christian University in Texas.

Sounds like a man not in dire risk of having his neck knelt on to me.

He likely doesn't spend much time passing phoney money while high, so yeah.

By "not touch the ground" you mean waited nine months until charges were laid?

Unadulterated horsesh!t, Stuart.

Are there people who are racist? Yes. Is the US (or the UK) systemically racist? No. They *feel* that way because they are told from childhood that they are 2nd class, not by most people but by their own self-appointed leaders: Black, white, and otherwise. They are told the lie often enough that they believe it.

And, unfortunately, so do a lot of other people who ought to know better, yourself apparently included.
