I'm sure they're having a grand old time entertaining seniors in those dull old folks homes, too, right??

If you choose to protest an event make sure you're on the correct side of the political agenda.  It would also behoove you not to do so in front of a Sub who wants nothing more than to show off to his Doms.

My understanding is that the charges were dropped by the Philadelphia D.A. rather quickly.  I am honestly surprised they were.

That is one police sergeant who should immediately be fired.

I'm not a supporter of this guy's position, but he'ds got the same rights as I do.  I don't have audio (a my issue) and couldn't quite read the sign, but the YouTube comments don't sound as if he was making threats and neither was the sign from what I could see.  He wsn't obstructing the Pride group or physically confronting them or police.  This looks like a clear violation of his freedom of speech.

The placard says "Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life", which is John 14:6.

He starts to speak out and says "God is..." at which point the Cop moves in and says "That's it...".

This looks like a very poor decision by the officer.

Sheer speculation on my part, of course, but I can see how the stage could have been set.

Politicos read the usual mindless twaddle on the usual LW social media sites, talking about the vast epidemic of RW violence. Politicos then advise the PD and especially the union reps that the LW demonstrators must be protected at all costs, else LEOs on the scene would not be making it to their pension.

Something something ox something something gored.

Not even close to the Westboro Baptist level.  Yeah, he would find legal advice very useful and the inevitable settlement probably worth the trouble.

I doubt anything serious will happen to the cop, mostly because cops tend to get away with minor abuses of authority.

Some reaction by US Southern Baptists,

Southern Baptists Move to Purge Churches With Female Pastors
Some conservatives in the evangelical denomination fear a liberal drift, and are set to vote on a strict ban against women in church leadership. Two churches are appealing their expulsions.

BBC anchor profusely apologized after an environmentalist corrected him on-air Friday for using the offensive term “seaweed” when referring to “marine algae.”

English naturalist Chris Packham asked Radio 4 “Today” host Amol Rajan to not use the common nickname when talking about the ocean plant that has recently swamped a beach on the southwestern coast of the UK.

“I’ll politely last ask you to mind your language. Can we call it marine algae rather than seaweed? The weed word puts it at an immediate disadvantage, doesn’t it?” Packham, who presents the BBC show “Springwatch,” said.

Rajan interrupted his guest to extend his apologies.

“I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry. And that’s important because I actually looked it up and I still got it wrong,” the host said.

That's the dog's porn industry name. Probably has dozens of videos on PornDog.
